Story

I started doing hair when i was 17 in Montreal Quebec. Training at Vidall Sassoon Academy, Toni & Guy Academy gave me a timeless technical skills. My Hairdressing CREDO is:
A great hair cut happens not by chance but by design! What I love most about hairdressing is the fact that I get to create shapes and colors on a human canvas. The foundation of great hair design is in the cut. Haircutting is so much more than making the hair shorter, its about creating shapes that combine precise solid lines and texture. Precision cutting has been a lost art in recent past with a lot of shattered and textured looks. I believe that strong shapes are best achieved through “Tension Cutting” having the hair bounce back and pushing the hair off it into the desired shape. Every hair type brings its own unique challenges and rewards. At SALON CHEZ PIERRE you will experience strong cutting techniques that will have your hair fall into place as you style it at home.

Great salon, fabulous team. Karlie has been my gal for almost 2 years, and always listens and then delivers. She is knowledgable, and has great ideas...just fun to work with. Pierre is an expert as well, and is always so helpful. Between either of these two you will get the best advice and service. Both are experts in all things hair, and the salon is a welcoming, friendly shop! Nothing like feeling like a “million bucks” leaving the salon...every time!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit at Salon Chez Pierre. The staff were all welcoming and friendly (including the two sweet dogs that greet you at the door). They had an assortment of snacks and beverages; which is awesome, especially when your appointment could be more than a couple hours. Pierre is an artist with his work, and he genuinely care about how you like it and what you're going for. The consultation really helped both of us get a clearer idea of what I wanted, and the result was stunning. I would highly recommend this salon, and will be going back myself in the future.

I went to Salon Chez Pierre after my crazy self thought it was a good idea to put a bright auburn, semi-permanent box dye on my hair. I had no idea that the brand’s “28 shampoos” claim wasn’t going to return me to my base and I reached out to Pierre when I couldn’t take the color anymore. I left his salon with a beautiful Grace Kelly blonde and a healthy, happy scalp. He gave me my options and was upfront about the time and cost commitments. Super grateful to Pierre and his mystical magic. My mom attended the salon at the same time and had a stunning head of highlights masterfully crafted by Razma. She received top-notch service and felt listened to every step of the way. And Karlie, as always, was her beautiful, fearless self. Such an amazing energy at that salon. Have and will continue to recommend it to everyone I know.

Had two appointments so far with Karlie. Did not hesitate to make a second appointment after my first visit. Karlie listened to me, made some valuable suggestions. Very friendly environment, including super friendly dogs. This is now "my place" for my hair.

I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone.Today was my first time at this salon and I wasn’t disappointed their service is amazing. All the staff made me feel so welcomed from the start. And especially thank you to Karlie I am in love with my new hair. :)
