Stopped here for lunch during a bike ride and had a really nice soup and sandwich. Nothing fancy but tasty. Got to watch planes take off from the airport while eating.

I had the pleasure of going to the runway cafe everyday for lunch when I worked at the airport. The staff was always welcoming, friendly and always engaging. Soup and sandwich combo is always fresh and delicious!

Great little coffee, cakes, breakfast, sandwich cafe. Great for anyone who is a plane fan but even if not as this busy little airport provides plenty of entertainment from the patio

I took my boys to watch the planes and have a nice lunch. They were so excited to go there, we had never been. The staff member working was not welcoming. She was making a sandwich and chatting with the customer.  I was reading the menu and she said I'm the only one here so you can stop looking for someone else to come out and serve you. We were waiting patiently for her to serve us as a group of people came in. She served another man before me even though I was there first.  Then she yelled down to me from her cash register " did you figure out what you are getting" I told her my order and she said go take a seat she would bring it out to me after she served all the other customers (who came in 5 minutes after us. We went out to the patio and waited for about 15 min. We went back in to see how things were going. She was making someone else's order and said oh sorry I got lost in here. She apologized and offered my kids treats which I did not take. I wasn't convinced that she cared that she forgot about our order. And I'm confused as to why she was rude to us from the moment we walked in. My 3 year old cried as we left because he wanted to watch the planes. We will not go back. I think she only likes the regular customer's
