Runnings of Rapid City

Assistant Store Manager Rod is disgusting. Today he was “using the facilities”. Directly next to the door there is a large blue sign with white writing that says: Employees wash hands before returning to work. Or something close to that. Assistant Store Manager Rod feels that this sign does not apply to him. After handling his business, he happily walks over and grabs the door and door handle and exits the room. When I questioned him about his cleaning habits, he said “I use another sink in the other room because the water is hotter”. So now Rod has handled the restroom door and another door that other employees are required to use for entry and exit. He has also bypassed the automatic sink in the men’s room (that helps avoid the spread of germs) in favor of putting his waste cover mittens on yet a third surface in the store. He shrugged his shoulders as if to say that I’m making a big deal out of nothing. Assistant Store Manager Rod is disgusting! The other employees that were present were too afraid to say anything, as they noted “he’s the assistant manager”. His nasty bathroom habit don’t need to be spread throughout the store.

almost all the staff is nice and i like their products clean store to. i might of gave a 5 star but they had a rude jerk working at the chainsaw area that looks like a fat john malkovich... that guy will treat you like your retard.

Great selection of everything. They could use some more female western shifts though, they only have a few .

ANOTHER Anti Second Amendment chain. I am a dual resident , Colo and SD. I placed a high end rifle on layaway at the Rapid City store. I went to pick up the rifle and there was some confusion how to proceed since my ID was a CO DL. After 10 minutes I was told (the counter guy contacting corporate) Running's only sells long guns to So Dakota residences. Even though SD and Federal law allow such sales- believe me I checked ! The poor guy at the counter was as disappointed as I was and continued to apologize. Apparently according to the Corp. Compliance officer (Dave Kendell ) policy of Runnings supersedes your 2nd Amendment rights.. No BS here you can decide for yourself
