Cabela's

Yep it's an doors and hunting store most of what you might want- But wow the excessive trophy hunting and stuffed predators. Serious over kill and killing of endangered species. If you want to support preservation shop else where please! We aren't in the 1900s anymore. Make a stand! Sad sad representation of what outdoor adventure and life is about. We won't be spending our money here ever! Plus most of the nice inventory was made in China! :/ Vote with your money!

Went to customer service desk and waited for a good five minutes. I was standing right by the sign that says "next customer wait here". When the person ahead of me was done another customer went to the customer service representative from the other direction and the customer service representative totally ignored me. I asked if the sign meant any thing and the representative acted like he didn't hear me. Bad service.

I wanted to provide feedback on an employee named Steve working the camping section on June 25th or so, 2017. My friend and I traveled from North Carolina to the Badlands for some backpacking. Steve was so helpful with our last minute gear needs. He was friendly, chatty, inquisitive. It was so refreshing to find such a knowledgeable and hospitable soul in such a big store. He asked about the gear we already had and what we thought of it, truly trying to educate himself it seemed. He was eager to hear our thoughts, offer his, with a true love for the outdoors. Give this man some accolades!

Worst Cabela's ever! Horrible management! Stay away. Went there to warranty out my "lifetime warranty" sock, talked to a manager that wanted my receipt to make it happen, told her I did not have it, she said that the warranty had run its course and I could get a $3.00 credit on $20.00 socks, she was super unfriendly and did not want to warranty then out. Next manager up was no good either, trying to do the same thing and not honor their lifetime warranty, this big dude was so bad that he put his hands on me! I let him know that if he touched me again that there would be some serious problems! After he laid hands on me and realized I was getting ticked, he warrantied my socks! Must have figured he shouldn't be touching coustomers. I had my 9 year old son with me also. If you go here stay away from management and don't expect them to warranty anything, and you might get roughed up too! Horrible!!

Not my favorite Cabela's. There wasnt even a 2nd floor. And there wasnt a 'Trophy Hall' filled with mounted animals. There also was only one fish in the giant aquarium; what up with that? Cabela's is a great outdoors store, but as theyve grown their prices haven't necessarily decreases. In fact they seemed to have risen.
