Excellent meats, knowledgeable staff, loads of top choice extras all make this place to stop for that something special. These are NOT no frills prices, but then, these are not no frills meats. Top quality, beautiful cuts on display in the case and friendly butchers to help you with anything you need! From a nice change of the daily blah dinners to that special meal, Royal York Meat Market will have what you need!

Pretty great meats like bacon and sausages but I did buy steak from here a couple of times that was just too dry or had too many unedible pieces. Sad because this place is so close to home. But too expensive to keep buying my steak here if it's not worth the price.

They have some excellent meat here and great service. I've tried their ground pork, skirt steak, bacon and all we're really good. Great selection of meats such as Tomohawk steaks, pork chops, flank steak. Huge selection of homemade sausages and marinated chicken. They also sell Ontario grown vegetables, carrots, tomatoes, asparagus etc.. In the summer they have bushels of corn. In their fridge they carry locally made ice cream which is delicious. I did have one weird experience. I called to see if they had any Kobe beef and the lady on the other end didn't know what I was talking about. She says, "You mean luncheon meat?" Me, "No Kobe beef, from Japan.". Her, "I don't know what that is.". Who works at a butcher shop and doesn't know what Kobe beef is? Oh well, still a great store with top notch service.

Great selection of quality meats, and they will have unusual cuts sometimes that aren't available at the grocery chains. Really nicely laid out to. Only problem is the counter staff are usually very clueless and young unless you get one of the owners.

Amazing store with plenty of options. Love all the produce that they recently started carrying. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and it has become an easy one-stop-shop for both quick weekday dinners or fancier weekend parties!
