Value Village

This was the most disgusting Value Village I've been too. It smells dirty and I should have put on a mask. I was there to find a hooded cardigan. I would say that 95% of the cardigans were so dirty and pilled. They were pilled so bad, that using a clothes shaver would be a waste of time. The staff are very rude at this storeI. There was 1 employee that was very helpful. I wish I had asked her name, because she was the only good thing about this store. I found a cardigan, not exactly what I wanted but looked warm. It was very, very dirty and was debating whether to buy anything in there, as I was seriously concerned that I would bring home bedbugs. I did buy it but I put it on my balcony, just in case. Tonight I decided to hand wash it. OMG dirty is an understatement. I hand wash a lot of pre-loved clothes, but nothing has been this dirty or made the water smell so bad. I left it to soak in my kitchen sink and went to eat dinner. I'm sitting in my living room and I can smell the disgusting water in my living room. As it soaked the horrible smell intensified. Needless to say it is back on my balcony. Not sure if I will attempt to continue with handwashing tomorrow!

This location is pretty organized, and you can almost always spot the staff working their magic.nnThere's also almost no wait time to check out.nnUnfortunately, this location still didn't bring back the changerooms, but there are mirrors near the back to try items on.nnAs for the selection, there's a good mix of items with fair prices.nnIt's definitely a location worth visiting regularly.

Overall a good chain to visit but maybe they should drop the word value and just be titled the village recent changes like removing change rooms,no returns just exchange and over accelerated price increases can make me ask myself how much Value there was at the village on a day I'm driving across town to exchange an item that I could not try on before buying and hope there is something I want that I can exchange for.to bad I couldn't exchange my time list for something. Just a note. All items are donated and most delivered to store by the donors.Seens like the store gets all the value.

This is one of the best Value Village stores. Things are kept near and tidy. Most things are in pretty good condition. I’ve bought some nice things here over the years. You just have to know what you’re looking at regarding price and completeness when it comes to things like electronics, games, DVD, Blu Ray discs etc.

Never knew that Value Village had more than just used clothes. A friend recommended I check it out because I was looking for cheap wall paintings. Turns out to be great. I got a few paintings for less than $100. Great find and great staff!
