Rooster's Country Market Place

These people have become my friends during the last 2 years. Always helpful and kind staff. Excellent quality produce, but particularly the meat is so fresh and much of it is local. Great deli, coffee, home cooked meals for take out, fresh cookies. Prices are good or better than in the city.

Rooster's is a great place to pick up groceries for the week, for a meal, or just because you forgot an item. The staff are always friendly. Even though it is a small town grocery store, they have a good selection, and the fresh meat is especially good.

All the benefit of a supermarket to support our town of Magrath, stay local, the staff is very helpful at any time, they always have a smile for us shoppers. Yes there might be a sale in the bigger city, but considering the time, fuel and the usage of your vehicle will not compensate a sale... We also should keep in mind, if we do not support our supermarket, we will not have one anymore, than we will have to spend a lot of money to shop. So as they say, Stay Local - Shop Local... It keeps our town a better quality of life... and what can be better if the staff and service is great as well...

Small town grocery store with not a huge selection. Whenever I see something on sale in the fresh produce department it seems It's always starting to rot and should be thrown out rather than be put on sale. Walmart is hugely cheaper but it is nice to support your local shops and it's nice to fill in that gap between Walmart trips. The staff is always friendly and polite.

Rooster's is a full service grocery store in the quiet town of Magrath AB. They carry everything you will need. The prices are a bit higher, but that is to be expected outside of the big city. I would recommend.
