The only store of this kind in the area! You've got all you need without driving all the way to Bayer Lake, or Dartmouth. Lots of parking, with on-line pick up parking spots marked clearly. The inside is very organized and clean! Following the aisle signs, I was able to find what I needed and be back to my car within 5 minutes!

Love this store. Needed a specific type of battery for our solar lights and they are the only store in HRM that sells it. Glad for it to help support a local business

Nice to have a hardware store in the city but selection is pretty limited. No real garden center to speak of. Honestly surprises me they're still in business.

Tony on the Pro Desk in Halifax is great to deal with, very professional and keen to make sure our needs were meet. They got a great employee in him!!!

This store feels nice and new inside. It's a convenient location because there aren't a lot of hardware stores on the peninsula. There's also lots of parking which is not easy to find around here. The staff are nice and helpful, really no complaints except prices aren't that low. Not much different from any of the other Rona's around. They sure manage to fit a lot in a small space!!

Went there with my wife to buy an electric water heater. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had intended on putting the heater in the van but we're told you can't lay them bown, so we opted for delivery. We were told they would deliver it right down to the basement for us. That turned out not to be the case. The delivery guy was only going to drop it off in the driveway. After some small talk he eventually agreed to help get it as far as inside the front door. Upon installation we discovered that the down spout is missing. Our plumber told us that there is supposed to be a long pipe that attaches to the tank in case there is too much pressure. And that it releases scalding water rather than blow up. Without the pipe there is a risk of someone being injured in the event that ever needs to release.

Friendly staff and excellent, knowledgeable customer service. Shelf stocking is sometimes lacking, but the basics are usually there. The Rona website is terrible and is not linked to this store's inventory in any way. This includes the sales displayed on the website. Once I saw a fantastic sale on patio stone, went to the store and they told me to get the sale price per brick I would have to order a whole container and ship it from Ontario. Whewf! I think this was better before the Lowes purchase.

Pro Desk does not answer the phone. Get put on hold and then then just hang up every time. Not good customer service at all!!
