Canadian Tire

Today my wife and I went into Canadian Tire trying to sanitize our water jug and refill it. We went over to the refill station and this woman was working under the machine. When we were discussing trying to sanitize it she said it was out of order. There was no timeframe or solution presented. When we asked questions about buying a new jug vs sanitizing as well as caps, she had a bit of an attitude when responding. She asked someone to bring us caps and they didn't come over to help. They just brought them to the register and didn't tell us to come over. When we went over to get the cap, the cashier wasn't paying attention and we had to interrupt after waiting a while to get the cap. Then when we went to pay we were asking about if the cap was reusable, since some of them are broken upon setup. Another cashier didn't say anything. We left with no answers and very minimal service. It seemed like no one wanted to help and no one knew what was happening. Customers shop retail because they want to get customer service to help them make decisions they can't make for themselves online. We didn't get that service today and it made me not trust Canadian Tire as much

I don't know about vehicle part, but in a general store for home and hobby goods this is a good place to find many different things you need. And they have pretty interesting membership that is connected to their, and Mark's storescasual, warm and work clothes.

I have to say that the customer relations with the hunting/sports department is absolutely terrible. I’ve spent a lot of money at this store in Bayers lake and the attitude from the manager of this department has the most unprofessional demeaning undertones that I have ever experienced and this has happened more than once with her. I will bring my business elsewhere.

Always a horrible experience at this particular Canadian Tire. Okay if there’s no possible chance you need to return something, but horrible and unreasonable policies if you do need to return an item. Aside from past poor experiences, today I learned that I couldn’t return a brand new item for credit back to my original funding source - my Canadian Tire Credit Card. I also was not permitted to purchase a Canadian Tire gift card in the same amount as the returned item. And, as crazy as it seems, I was supposedly breaking their precious policy when forced to buy an item of equal or greater value. Only one item is the rule. That’s correct - I wasn’t permitted via policy to buy a few things to make up the cost of the returned item. Unreal. I have had fantastic experiences at Canadian Tire Bedford, and especially Home Depot on Lacewood and Kent Building Supplies in Bayer’s Lake. So the good news is that I will never have to shop at this particular Canadian Tire ever again. Same for all my family. I’m spreading the word far and wide after today to warn others to avoid this store and their extremely shopper-unfriendly policies. Good riddance.

Just returned from some after Christmas shopping at this Canadian Tire. Met up with some Canadian Tire employees Oleh and Zach. I was telling them that in Australia where I live there is no equal to this store. It has such an unusual array of products and, having grown up in NS, I have great memories of Canadian Tire money in the kitchen drawer and of getting winter tires fitted. Keep up the great work!
