The Home Depot

Contrary to many reviews here, I find the staff I encountered 8 or 9 of them very friendly. They would greet us first and are very helpful finding the products for us or at least pointing us to the right aisle. Definitely would come here regularly for home supplies.

This is my Local Home Depot and I always love having a reason to stop in there. I almost always go home with a plant and usually don't have any issues finding what I'm looking for. Great customer service and being dog friendly makes it even better. I'm pretty sure my dogs get more attention than I do haha but that's ok they're much cuter.

I usually find what I need and staff are generally friendly. One small thing today was that I was in the electrical aisle and was looking at wire strippers. There was a staff person crouched down organizing something in front of me. I had to reach over this person a few times to find what I needed. The staff person could have gotten up and moved out of the way and maybe even ask if I needed help. But they just stayed in the way. A few minutes before that a different staff person asked if the ladder was in my way in a different section. It wasn't but that staff person understands customer experience. Not the end of the world but every staff person ignored customers then this would have been a very different experience.

Good selection and prices but often find quality on online ordering is horrible. One example I got a bathtub with dents and scratches and it ain’t no fun repacking that back up and then waiting on a new one. and staff at Halifax location are not very helpful especially the manager I had the privilege of dealing with today….. honestly I will be taking my business else where after my experiences lately with home depot!!

Great service in the appliance department but one big snag. The Frigidaire dishwasher we purchased listed the required clearance for installation as a space 24 inches wide. However, the external hardware to close the door makes the total width 24 inches so an opening of at least 24 and one-quarter inches will be required to allow free movement of the door. So what do we do now??? Carve the sides of the opening?? The sides of the opening are integral parts of the support for the kitchen counter. Bad news is we bought two of these.

More upscale than a traditional hardware store means you're paying a small premium for goods. The brightly lit store and properly stocked merchendise make it worth it.

Clean store, friendly and helpful staff, and fully stocked with everything you could need for a small to large scale reno. Bathrooms are the cleanest in the city!

This is our go-to store for tool rentals and home reno items! The staff are always super friendly and quite knowledgeable, so don't be afraid to ask about specifics for a project; they might have some very helpful advice to get it done even better!

Like how the website show you exactly which aisle and section the item you are looking for is and how many are left. Makes shopping in such a huge store so much easier. Lots of selection and good prices/ deals. Definitely my go to store for any projects around the house.

i shop at this home depot very often and the cashier named satwinder is very polite and respectful. she always greet with a huge smile.
