The Home Depot

Had amazing service at Home Depot on Lacewood today. Wanted a medicine cabinet they had but there was none left so they sold us the one on display and the man who took it down was so pleasant and helpful. Kirk was also a fabulous help to us, got us in touch with seasonal and I found the exact large planter I was looking for. Another man helped us find the item we originally went there to buy. And the cashier who rang us through was very friendly and helpful. All were happy, cheerful and cared about us the customers. Merry Christmas to all of these hard working happy pleasant people. You made our day!!!! We live in Dartmouth but had such excellent care and service in Halifax, we will be back.

Donna and Joy went above and beyond for my family and I today so they definitely deserve this review. I went in and wanted the 12ft skeleton but unfortunately there was none there and none were getting ordered, we asked if we could buy the display and they let us. Donna made sure we had all the tools we needed and even let us assist to an extent that way we knew how to put it together. They were beyond kind throughout the time it took to get it apart and we definitely had a couple laughs along the way. You don’t get much customer service like that anymore but it is clear why Donna works the department she does and why Joy is the customer service manager! They’re amazing at it

Very unorganized, went for patio stones and it took them 20 mins to find them. Driving skid steers like maniacs while digging the stones out. Like boys playing in sports cars very unprofessional. Gentleman helping load the stones up was very friendly and helpful.

Good inventory for your home renovations. However could improve on customer service. Often have to hunt down people for help and they have very limited experience. Don't try to call as no answer to many departments

I have been renovating my home since spring and have been visiting this Home Depot location almost weekly. Unfortunately, my experience with certain staff members has been disappointing.nnThe associate in flooring the guy with glasses, the lady in appliances, and some young associates at the front customer service desk who seem to be temporary or students have consistently demonstrated poor customer service and a lack of product knowledge.nnDuring one visit, I was sent back and forth between departments for over 45 minutes. It was frustrating and time-consuming. Eventually, one of the customer service associates stepped in to place my order before her shift ended, which I appreciated—but this shouldn’t have been such a difficult process.nnThis store needs to invest more in training its staff to ensure a better customer experience.nnHowever on the other side the guys at the hardware, wood, and plumbing are the best to deal with.
