Fun place to look around however I asked 2 personnel inside the store about blown in insulation they both said to see the guys in the warehouse and when I asked the guy in the warehouse he said I had to check inside the store. He did say they recently started using a new system. Other than that the staff were quite helpful.

Technology FAIL: - went in to find a plastic seal, within seconds an older gentleman politely asked if i needed help. I did and he was able to help. Thanks, i was on way to cash register within a minute in the lineup for 20 minutes. Amazon Prime seems faster. Here's what i observed: - on a saturday, only one cash ready - cashier called for a curtis to open up second on, he never appeared - i overheard another employee indicate the cash registered was locked after 3 failed attempts therefore unable to open a second cash register. - the lineup continues to build, probably 3 or 4 isle length, with people have to squeeze through. - customer in front of me had a form with a bar code, but i over heard two employees said the numbers had to be manually entered (that transaction took way too long) - after 20 minutes, it was my turn. To make matters even more annoying, there was a taped note saying 'tap did not work' For a $3 item i had to wait for cc authorization. I cannot understand how a reputable company with a very new store fails so much with process and technology. Makes using online purchasing so much more attractive. I also see other competitors using mobile apps for order/pickup and show where items are located. I'll try one more time with Rona in Bedford, to see if the above was just a series of anomalies.

Not quite the level of inventory you might get at a Home Depot or Kent, but they've still got a great selection for most home repair and building supply projects. My one big headache here is always finding someone to talk to (especially who seems like they care). In my past two visits I had to go up front to ask a cashier if anyone was working. However, once we found a guy on our most recent trip he was friendly and helpful. Honestly, I feel they'll do in a pinch, but I've consistently had better experiences at Home Depot.

Superb service. Its wonderful to finally have a building supply store in Bedford. Has all the necessities albeit reduced because of its size compared to larger stores. Those of us old enough to remember will recognize the remnants of the IGA grocery store tiling on the floor in the drive-thru lumber area as well just for a fun bit of nostalgia.
