RockCreek Seafood & Spirits

We went during happy hour with the intent to try all of the happy hour dishes. We tried all except the oyster dishes. Service was excellent however a little slow considering these were appetizers. Really enjoyed the way each one was brought out separately in a specific order. We enjoyed all however would not recommend the calamari. A little over breaded and not a lot of taste. We topped off the small plates with the key lime pie and it was excellent! Ordering four starters and one drink each from the happy hour menu the Bill with tip came to $90.

Had high expectations for RockCreek based off word of mouth and reviews but came away unimpressed. In terms of drinks and service, both were fine however I've had better experiences at similar restaurants locally and across major US cities. In terms of food, everything besides the final Ono fish dish was average. Oysters came out way too close to warm serve raw oysters on ice, not rocks, bread was served cold, and while the scallops and sides were good they weren't anything special. The final Ono fish was excellent however. Personally, for the price the meal cost I would not return unless a close friend personally recommended a second try to me.

The good part: oysters both raw and grilled, service, vibe, and cocktails! But the food portion was a bit small for all dishes, and food was kinda pricy. Definitely a good vibe for a date night, but not so much for after a workout :

This place is ~chefs kiss~ I tried oysters for the first time here and they did not disappoint!! The pasta was very filling and a great option if you don't want seafood. We had a private room and our server was incredible. Easy 4 stars

I can't say enough great things about our visit to RockCreek. They seated us w/o a reservation at the fire pit on the patio. I got the Sea Bass & it was spot on. The Sazerac was incredible you got a good sense of the absinthe. But our server Natalie made our night absolute perfection. She knew her menu! She gave us great insight into the food choices, shared her favorites with us & took an active interest in us. Whatever they're paying that girl, it not enough! We will come back whenever we're visiting the area. ...and hopefully Natalie will be our server again.

A reasonly pricey option but the food is of a noticeably high quality, in flavour, texture and presentation. We enjoyed everything we ordered from the menu. The seating outdoors was perfect for the summer day.

I really loved this restaurant. Everything was great, ranging from their service, environment, and food. We got the Hawaiian Tuna Tartare as appetizer and Neah Bay Rockfish & Shell Stew, and Alaskan Rockfish as entrees. We also got the Ricotta Apple Beignets for dessert. All dishes were incredibly good, but between the two entrees, we enjoyed the stew more. You will likely need to find street parking. We would recommend making reservations, unless you want to sit at the bar or for happy hour. We would absolutely recommend and come back.

Our waitress was dressed as "Bob " from Bob's Burgers. Many other servers were enjoying the Halloween Spirit too. The oysters were delicious. We enjoyed 3 small plates, of tender grilled octopus, a spicy calamari salad,a flavorful Tuna tartar and key lime pie for dessert. A nice Halloween Anniversary dinner.
