Ivar's Salmon House

Interesting atmosphere. Plenty to see . Set up by the windows and you have a nice view of the water. Boats, sea planes landing, lots of things to see. Menu has so many good things on it that if I were in town longer I would come back again. The Chowder sourdough bread bowl was very good.

Ordered take out from the fish bar. Quality was marginal. Salmon was so over cooked it took a knife to cut. French fries were soggy. Won’t eat here again

Service was excellent. Food was incredible - we had the cedar plank salmon and more than a few appetizers. Decorating is engaging. What else do you need to hear. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience with great food and service in a cool location - look no further

Last night before temporary closing, salmon house known for having curated salmon and other seafood was down to only coho and fish n chips, a sad farewell..hopefully they will be back in the spring when we can revive good memories with good friends.

I go here quite a lot since I live so close. The happy hour at the Salmon House is absolutely unbeatable. The food is always tasty, drinks are great, and the views top it all off!
