Story

Reside is a family business that originally started in Edmonton in 1978. Known formerly as Leather Elite, Reside was established in 2013 by the Lundgren family after they discovered what was missing in the Edmonton market: a unique collection of furniture and home decor made with a wide selection of reclaimed and sustainable materials such as solid wood, wrought iron and other unique, attractive and lasting materials.

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the customer service I received from Jan at Reside Furnishings in West Edmonton! I had looked everywhere for a sofa and chairs for my living room and finally found what I was looking for at Reside! They had a ton of custom options for me to choose from! I had gone in about 3 times before finally finalizing my purchase and each time Jan was super friendly, knowledgeable and helped me fulfill my vision... even though I didn’t totally know what that was! Thank you for all your help, I really appreciated it! :D

Went in there and didn’t get a single person approach me. I was wearing a hat and not the fanciest clothes but had full intentions of spending $. Not a person looked my way or said hello. Two other people came in after me and both were approached immediately. Wouldn’t shop there again if my life depended on it. Start treating all customers equally if you know what’s good for your busniess. Looks can be very decieving.

We purchased a fabric (leather look) Palliser sectional sofa to replace the leather one our new kittens had scratched. It's now almost three years later and the sofa still looks like new (it's cat proof). Plus we love the soft warmth of the fabric much more than leather. If you have cats, dogs or kids check out this sofa and Reside Furniture. Oh and did I mention the staff...amazing, they know their stuff and were so helpful. I refuse to buy furniture and home decor anywhere else.

Jan was a great help. I went in for a fast look at something I saw on their website and Jan dropped what she was doing to help me find it. In an instant I loved the item and her prompt service made the sale and my loyalty. I will start my searches on their site now before all others. The prices are more than the big box stores, but the quality more than compensates. Real wood, not veneer. Stylish one of a kind looks that will be the conversation pieces in a home. Beautiful product and great service. Thank you :)
