"In 1981, Redhook founders, Gordon Bowker and Paul Shipman, had a vision to bring Seattle a better beer than the light yellow fizzy stuff that was widely available at the time. Seizing upon the progressive energy of other pioneering Emerald City brands, the two established Seattle’s Redhook Ale Brewery. From modest beginnings in an old transmission shop in the Ballard neighborhood, to a former trolley car barn in Fremont, Redhook has always embodied the spirit of Seattle. After 39 years, Seattle’s Original Craft Brewery is still brewing fresh, innovative craft beers for the new generations of beer lovers."

Word of advice, don’t expect decent customer service. You have to seat yourself then find some random employee to order food and drinks, no one comes to check on you so if you want another drink you have to once again find a random employee. The good is delicious, there’s plenty of places to sit and the atmosphere was nice and got that I can definitely come back!
This place is best suited for having a beer or two with great scenery sitting outdoors and watching the foot traffic. But the food was suprisingly good, too! We got a well done pizza with half pepperoni and half sausage with onions. And a burger with fries. Both were pretty good. Definitely ask for an extra side of beer cheese to dip your fries, pizza crust, or whatever else you can think of. Staff was friendly and attentive, but orders were a bit slow. No biggie for a crowded friday night.
Beers are so well made, our sampler was drunk happily. No matter what your taste from Smash to gose to porter, they were styled well. And attached to KObo pizza, you can challenge your taste buds with Shoda from Top Chef pizza and fixings. Rated Great!
The service was great and so was the price. I liked my french fries. But their other food items were just ok. Also the vibe was very amazon-tech-bro, it's ok if you're into that kind of automosphere.
Great place to grab food and drinks. Despite being Redhook’s brewery, they also serve cider, wine, and cocktails so everyone can find something to drink. Great pub style menu with burgers, pizza, brats, nachos, etc. we had the fully loaded fries and house made pretzel and both were great. Beer is top-notch. Two outdoor patio areas as well as large indoor space. Had to find street parking, though there are some lots/garages nearby.
Understaffed, with resulting slow bar service. For such a full list of beers, disappointingly middle of the road. Decent pint price. Cool, old building, shared with a popular pizzeria.
Overall good, decent beer selection. Unfortunately they were short staffed so only had cheese or pepperoni Mochi, will definitely have to go back to try the more unique flavors.
It was good to visit Redhook again. My family and I used to go all the time to the Redhook in Woodinville and this is our first time to Redhook Brew lab. They have quite a variety of beers. For food, it was pretty disappointing because all they had was a pop-up kitchen running with a limited menu. Given the pandemic and everything, they don't have burgers and fries or anything like that anymore. So the main reason to go is for the beers that they have available on tap. When we were in it was very very popular on a Wednesday night so lots of people are coming in and enjoying the space. The staff running the bar were super helpful and very friendly. So if you're looking for sort of a modern place to hang out and have a beer, it's pretty good. But I can't say that it's a family place like the old Woodinville location nor does it have a robust menu.
I wouldn't never plan on organizing a group here as they always have inconsistent hours and they never bother to update hours on their website, voice-mail or Google listing. Have showed up on 3 different occasions and they are always closed for one reason or another. Giving up on this place.
The Redhook brew lab was our alternative spot since another spot was closed. But I'm really glad I went. The food selection was awesome and tasty and their beer selection was even better. The building was really cool, and lit up beautiful at night. We did the beer flight while we were there and I highly recommend it!
