Its a nice quiet neighborhood bar in Madison Park. Not crowded at all.
When I'm working in Madison Park, I'm popping into the Red Onion for their French Dip. I love it!

Not a bad dive bar. One star off because well this is partly my fault. I ordered an old fashioned because I was feeling it, bartender gave me a quizzical look then shrugged and started to make something. It definitely wasn’t an old fashioned. Stick to the basics here and enjoy the atmosphere
There are several things here that will make you say, "No wonder it's empty." Also it's pretty lame to blatantly rush a check on a patron because "I'm clocking out soon."
It's a blast from the past. The service is amazing and the bar is excellent. I'd recommend going because it has personality. This personality can be refreshing and new to younger people sub 30s. Great karreokee.
