They have lots of selection and the owner/staff there are very nice and helpful. I want to make some feedback to those complaining about the price. Please really compare before you say that this store is charging too much - in fact - Rascals does not. I bought my cat food from different pet stores and I discovered that Rascals is really better in pricing than the biggest pet store chain in Calgary (the one from the US). My cat's favorite canned food is 39 cents cheaper per can in Rascals (based on regular price), and their second favorite one is 10 cents cheaper per can. In addition, the dry food that my cats eat are $2 to $3 lower in pricing when compare to that big chain - I still keep the receipts as a proof. (These food are from the brands that are ONLY carried by pet stores,) So, please don't make a stereotype that small businesses always charge you more. Please check first. The only thing that I hope they will consider in the future will be cat grooming service - but I know it may be a challenge for them...

Sheena is reason alone to visit and have your pet groomed by her. I have a rescue that was very fearful of grooming and having his nails trimmed, Sheena is so gentle and kind that he is no longer scared to have it done. The rest of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their food products, I recommend a visit.

Awesome staff. Great selection & knowledge of pet needs. Our "go to" place for everything dogs. We love them! (so do the boys)

Prices are higher than most places. EDIT: Thank-you for responding and admitting that Rascals Pet Supplies is unable to compete with some bigger stores when it comes to the price that some items are sold at. There was a significant difference in pricing for the items I was shopping for (high end cat food). I understand that RPS is competing with some bigger players. I recommend RPS search for wholesalers with better rates and/or negotiate better rates with the companies that they deal with. I applaud RPS for being a family business, it's amazing staff and very good service.
