Welcome to Pet Planet Mount Royal!

The store is growing and we have now added full service grooming for dogs and CATS!! Miranda is with us full time, and is able to meet all your grooming needs! Call to make an appointment, or just stop - we offer a range of walk-in services!

The first Pet Planet store opened in 1996 and was founded on the principle of total pet health wellness through education. Through passion and innovation we have grown from one retail location to various locations across North America.

Me & My Fur Babies Love This Place! Even when they were Pet Planet. I've been a client since 2016 & there is a reason for that! The employees are knowledgeable, helping and provide above and beyond service. Plus they have the best groomers ever!!! Miranda has been my groomer for my now 11 year old dog since 2016 and he would never ever let anyone groom him until her. She's phenomenal I've recommended Maple Leaf Pet's grooming to a lot of people and everyone comes back to me with "WOW I'll never go anywhere else again" #MapleLeafPet4Life
I have been taking my 8 month old puppy here for a few months since we moved into the area; we have never had a visit short of phenomenal. Each person who works here genuinely, whole heartedly cares for my animals as if they were their own. Taking my pets anywhere else would simply be settling for less. They always remain up to date with things necessary such as the science behind foods, common breed specific issues and they always remember your previous visits and details. They’re friendly, well stocked, knowledgeable and compassionate - everything you’d hope for when it comes to a necessary stop while having a pet. While I don’t plan to stay in the beltline area indefinitely - I will always make the trip to continue bringing myself and my dogs somewhere I trust. Thank you to all the employees who contribute to even the short visits we’ve had - they always make our day!
Great little independently owned shop in Calgary. I went in today with a brand new puppy, the staff working were super friendly, kind and most importantly helpful! Looking forward to checking out the grooming services and continuing to shop there :
Miranda and Lisa are simply fantastic!! Not only did they put up a missing poster when my Cat Sarah got out for almost 3 weeks but did nails and a shave and a skunk spray once she returned!! Thank you so much Maple Leaf Pets!! Much Love from Sarah!!
THE BEST GROOMING EXPERIENCE EVER!! We came here on a recommendation from a friend and we can't thank Miranda enough for taking such good care of our dog!! Our girl ravioli has had horrible experiences with groomers and is usually very anxious with any groomer. Not only was Miranda able to complete the groom, but she looks fantastic! She was so kind and patient, Ravioli even looked like she had enjoyed her time there now that she is home. THANK YOU!!
Miranda is hands down the best dog groomer out there. Been taking my dog since he was a puppy, never had a bad haircut or experience, she always takers time and great attention to detail.
My cat Georgie had a very bad Mat of fur on his back that was very uncomfortable for him.Miranda did an excellent job with taking care of the Mat and with no stress to Georgie.Thankyou very much.I am speaking for my cat as He just speaks cat.Three meows and a two minute purr means Good Job!!
Lovely folks working here who are very willing to help! Also an amazing groomer who makes you feel like your dog will actually be safe unlike ps groomers. Will continue to support this store!!!

I love this store they have a huge variety of pretty much anything you will need pet related! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable!! I have been taking both my dogs here for nail trims and for years! They do a great job!
