Such a negative experience here. I got referred here from someone who discussed that this place was good to help get your dog socialized which I even called on several occasions to discuss this, and was told that the trainer here is amazing for dogs who need more socialization. I was told that if I bring him for day care that the trainer would definitely take their time with him and help get him used to a new environment. The moment we got there, we felt so unwanted as we were greeted with such coldness especially from one particular lady. We told them everything about our dog and what to be aware of, and that all he needed is to feel more comfortable with other people and dogs who are unfamiliar to him. We also asked if they feed the dogs, and it turn out they'll only feed him lunch if we bring food. However when she asked what his feeding schedule was like, she got immediately taken back by the times we feed him and was so rude about it, and mentioned that it may be best for them not to feed him. Seriously, this is a day care? You won't feed our dogs if they're in for the whole day? I told them he needs more socialization, and that he does play well with other dogs and humans once he realizes they are not a threat. Since it was his first time even there, we had hoped she would have warmed him up more to the environment and helped him with exactly what they told me they could help him with, but this was absolutely not the case. She took our dog to the back and proceeded to try shove him into a tiny cage , and at no attempt even tried to get him used to her, or the environment or do anything to make him feel more comfortable there. When she went straight to shove him into a small cage, she came back and told us our dog is not crate trained and cannot stay there. She made no attempt to connect with our dog and immediately had us leave, calling our dog a "problem dog". Perhaps if they had told us that they lock up all the dogs in the morning until the trainer gets there, then we could have discussed how he reacts in smaller crates and perhaps could have avoided this entirely or even brought his regular cage if they let us. (Before we had him, he was left in a car over night for many nights in a small cage, and is now afraid of being in tiny cages especially if he's being shoved in by a stranger with no care - Note: He is absolutely crate trained and he willingly goes in there with no issue daily). Ensure you do your research first before trying this day care out, especially if your dog is a "problem dog." Now I cannot speak for any training done here, (which I've heard amazing things about), but it seems there's something completely lacking from the front desk which assures us that we will not be going back there for any services in the future.
