Beautiful and closer to nature. Not very busy in the winter. Lots of ice and snow and birds. Worth the drive from wherever. Beautiful sunrise and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of life. Nice that in places where it so busy, life can be appreciated for what is important
This is the BEST park in the area. There are beautiful views of Lake Ontario, ample benches to sit on, and a lovely loop to walk around. You can sit on the beach and enjoy the sunshine. Lots of wildlife and birds to be spotted as well. We really enjoy visiting!
Did a surprise birthday party here. Great park. Clean. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Thank you.
I came here with a couple of friends for a scenic walk. There is a Waterfront Trail that connects to the park from the east side. This park almost fully wraps around a body of water as I saw many people on kayak, canoe, standup paddle board and swim in. The Waterfront Trail is suitable for walking, running and biking. You would also get to enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Ontario and downtown Toronto. There is an accessible access point to the beach area around AE Crookes Park. I did venture onto the beach and the sand is very fine. There are some parts that are definitely more stones and pebbles than sand. Overall, this park is quite a peaceful and you can see many people enjoying their time with friends and family.
Nature in cold. But feeling warm inside. I recommend thuis place to blend with nature in quite.
It’s great area to hang out with friends & family, bbq stands are available , restroom as well, parking, get your own boat, kayak, jet ski & have fun!
Great place for a walk or bike ride, especially during off hours when it’s not too busy. Extend your walk to the point where you can see Toronto or go through the woods to the Adamson Estate. The splash pad is nearby for the kids. The cove is nicely protected for stand up paddle boarding or other water sports. It freezes over in the winter for skating if you’re careful.
This park is beautiful any time of the year. There's plenty of wildlife all around. You can see huge salmon in the water during the fall salmon run. Parking is all round. Very peaceful and you can see many people enjoying a stroll here with their kids. I come here often for a quick enjoyment of the day without driving far to a huge park outside of Mississauga. This one is perfect for me.
Views of RK McMillan Park from across the water. Perfect fall views and colors amazing in October. The water front has so much wild life, swans, ducks and people of all ages enjoying the beach front area.
Great park. You will get very good shots if you have a good drone. I use this picture for my laptop background taken at 9am. This place is good for walk as well if you don't want to drive far from the city.
