Came here in December for a walk. this is a really nice clean park with plenty of amenities. see the map. plenty of free parking with 3 lots. the washrooms are next to the main parking lot. it is spacious and heated in the winter and they are clean. the playground is large with activities for all age groups. lots of benches to sit around. there is an off leash dog area on the east side of the park. the park is next to cobble beach with its unique red clay cobbles. fun to skip rocks. the waterfront trail connects with this park if you're cycling. there is a bike repair station along the path.
A wonderful place to go. Located besides Lake Ontario makes it a beautiful combination of sea and natural creatures. The lighthouse was extremely incredible around 7pm when we went to Lakeside Park. We didn’t get the chance to walk through the trail because it’s a little bit late, but we will try it out next time.
Very good park for children. It has splash pad, play zone with some great equipment. Equipment like music play, some math, some civil construction equipment, a sandbox. Accessibility to some equipment is available. Can further improve by having different flooring to give accessibility to children having mobility access issues.
Small and one of the clean park in Mississauga for family picnics. The washrooms are clean and that deserves a thumbs up. There's a kids play area, splash pool, walking trail and few picnic tables, plenty of people doing BBQ. It was our first time there and was impressed with beach keepers and number of times I saw the garbage collected and how well maintained the park. Definitely worth going again. Cons, far from public transportation.
Was looking for a cool spot during the heat wave and this is 15min from my home, splashpad looked great, dog park was fenced in, benches available to sit and look out at the lake, trails to get down to the water. The beach area had some garbage scattered around in some areas even though there are bins along the walkway, the pond needed maintenance it was filled with tree branches and leaves, you will need bug spray. Otherwise great for cooling down.
it's a nice park with splash pad, washrooms and a park. The water is beautiful only downfall is the rocks to the water have spiders, I hate spiders. otherwise lots of picnic tables and a beautiful trail to walk.
I found out about this park at an Airbnb and it was beautiful. The air felt clear being further away from the city, water looked extremely blue, and I loved the rocks/stones on the beach. It has a nice path that you can walk or bike, a small splash for children, and barbecue pits. Great place to be at sunrise/sunset in the summer especially.
Came across this hidden gem, 5 mins from my house . Nice and quiet. Has a leash free dog park, not busy, I'll be taking my doggies to. Park for the kids, trails, cobble beach. Pretty views . May 2022 4:45pm
Clear water and red rocks. A beautiful sight for sure. Pretty unique since the whole ground is covered in red rocks so it looks really cool! Something out of the ordinary for a quick trip in Mississauga!
The walking trail was good, however, there is a missing piece her at the park, which I personally think should be added, and that the waterfront. The only trails to the water are ones made by individuals beating it down by foot. It's a beautiful area, it's high time you develop it.
