Celebration square is an outdoor space in Mississauga for its residents. It is also a popular venue for public events and great venue for families and children to spend quality time. Other attractions close by is the Mississauga Library, YMCA, Mississauga Living arts Centre Hammerson Hall. Square one shopping centre. Great place to visit. Great for kids and family.
This is a nice open green area in the heart of Mississauga. They have live entertainment during events such as Canada Day 2022. From 3pm to 10pm which we are attending. It's a nice place to just sit and relax and if you want to get away from the city hustle and bustle. There are some picnic tables to sit at and a large green area if you want to lay a blanket down for a picnic. I see people exercising in the morning. Great space all together.
Ample of parking. Went there for new year celebration and everyone still got parking but had to wait patiently for 35-45 mins for the traffic to clear up. DJ, Concert, food stalls and fireworks were amazing. Fireworks were by the clock tower. Crowd was nice
A very nice spot in Mississauga city center, close to Square One shopping mall. Good for spending fun time for families with young kids. There's an ice rink for skating in the winter and food truck stands where you can grab a quick bite. Summers were specially fun before COVID with lots of events all summer long.
Really good area to relax they have benches water pond that turns into a skating rink tor library is within walking distance. Lots of events , soccer games concerts festivals and food trucks during the day . Very good
Went to celebration square and kids had a very good time there .They enjoyed splash pad and explore large ground field. There is also a small garden behind MCS that is very well organized and we had very memorable time there.
This is an amazing place lots of activities in summermainly water fountains and wintersice skating. There are a lot of events in summer as well. The entry is free and there is ample parking space in square one mall.
Lots of events here. We recently came here for the movie nights. The place is very well maintained and the events are well organized. If you want to have some good time in summer without a hole in your pocket. This is a great place to be. The parking is free after 6pm but there’s lot of parking in square one mall
The third Monday in February is dedicated in Canada to celebrate "Family Day". Such holidays and events are usually chosen to be on Friday or Monday, to connect with the weekend, so that almost every month has a long weekend. Families gather and celebrate their feast in different ways, and the share of the young ones from the celebrations is the largest on such a feast. In the city of Mississauga, the celebration square in the city center was packed with families this day despite the cold temperature is 5 degrees Celsius and the wind chill makes it 2 degrees. Parents with their children in the green square surrounded by small trucks selling fast food, hot and cold drinks, and ice cream. The square under the sun and the spread of people in it looks like the seashore. In addition to the lower green part of the square, there is the ice rink, where the skaters, most of whom are children, move, skilled skaters and other beginners and other trainees who are not discouraged by repeated falls from continuing their training in the hope of mastery. A relatively small area at the edge of the square was closed with iron barriers, around which children and parents gather without pushing, and those who did not find a place in the vicinity of this space stood on adjacent steps to watch the following activity: the dinosaur dance. I stood with them alongside fathers and mothers carrying their children on their shoulders so that they could watch. Children wonder when the dinosaur will come, and parents reassure them, "In a few minutes." The dinosaur came and greeted everyone and started making movements, followed by "Wowwww"s, with exclamations and admiration from children.
Brought my kids to play at the huge splash pad. We spend almost 3 hours there. Bought some food at the food trucks because we didn't bring any food. All the food was freshly made and delicious, the chicken strip was so juicy even though it was white meat. The crepe with Nutella and banana was so good too. Both owners were super friendly and nice. There was also a small farmer's market where u can buy some fresh vegetables and fruits. Next time I'll remember to bring my kids some water guns.
