Nice park opposite Garnet wood park. Both connected via Etobicoke creek trail. Nice place to visit. Have public toilets. Also have a baseball diamond . Loved it
Enchanting beauty of mother nature can be experienced here...One can find solace of mind in the fresh air flowing through the leaves of each tree...A suitable place for romantic couples to walk around and kiss each other on the bank of small stream of water body flowing by the side of path...It gives a very good opportunity to the kids to play in lap of mother nature and know it well..Bottom line is it's a must go trail with every tint of flourishing nature.
A walk in the park to admire the changing fall leaves was perfect for this visitor to Mississauga. Getting a breath of fresh air on a pleasant October morning was just what I needed, heading into the park I was greated by friendly locals who wished me a good morning. Thank you for making my morning a memorable one here.
Rollerblading everyday and be nice if the city would sweep the trails as it is dangerous for us bladders need nice pavement without debris.. I am sure this could be done once a week? KO Sept 22 I want thank the city for sweeping the trails the next day! Thank you for the clean pavement.. Now be ni ce if we could plan a Rollerblading tournament here in GTA But need pavement pulverized and re-laid... the amount of trails we have... get an annual event for charity... mine would be for trouble youth?? Thinking of starting a club... Wounded Knee Rollers!! Will check out the web or Facebook and set this up.. As all rollers have a scrapped knee or knees?? LOL KO OPPS I see this did not post! Well it seems the city did nothing from all counts... but I have taken it upon myself to buy a leaf blower and run the trails I roll on to make it safe for all! Folks on the big wheels.. I have seen some running at top speed... go to the streets please... one of youmost have no wistle or bell... bell does nothing folks for someone rolling at 30kls/hr!! These are walking paths.. So running along at high speed is very dangerous.. Find some quiet streets with lots of room for US to get out of the way!!! Have a good walk today... even blow the water out of the puddles... from bad pavement laying.... Last days where it's not too cold.... KO
Will recommend this for pet owners, as the park has a well designed off leash pet/dog area. The park like most in toronto has beautiful landscapes trails along with designated sports areas. Only downside- benches are few and far in between, with some without any shade whatsoever.
Great park for walking on the south side of Bloor Street is Etobicoke Creek. Couple baseball diamonds, soccer field and then you can walk up underneath floor street to the north side where there's a dog park, walking paths, playground with splash pad washrooms and a tennis court
Great for walking and riding bikes but not many places to seat
Planted over 200 trees on Earth Day on April 27 2019. Was the official photographer for City Of Mississaguga Parks and Forestry. Met Peter Fonseca and a great set of volunteers who planted the trees in winter weather in spring time
Decent park with a walking trail. Ideal for dog walks.
This park is amazing. There is a nice long path, to walk, run, exercise your dogs or just go with your kids. You will always see people taking advantage of it. There are benches a long the path, to stop and take a break with nice views. There are a few fields to play soccer and baseball. Theres a playground in the middle that my son loves. There are swings, slides etc.
