Please take the chefs recommendation on the steak. Absolutely delicious. I'm typically iffy about medium rare, but trust the chef at Public to make it to perfection. Waitress was amazing and kept the bottomless mimosas flowing. Will absolutely go back. 🙏🏾

Don't come here if you have food sensitivities or religious based food issues. We went one time with friends and my partner ordered the turkey burger. He cannot eat pork for religious reasons. Subsequently, we were there on a separate occasion and were going to order a turkey burger and we told by the waiter that this was one of his favorites because it was partly made with pork and that's why it tasted so good!!!! My partner felt so violated in that moment. How could you not disclose this on the menu?? What is wrong with this place? Do they think just because this is Minnesota, everyone eats pork? How culturally insensitive. Not to mention, what else is mislabeled? I would never eat there again and no one should either. This place needs to go and should get sued for not disclosing this. Beware!!!

We came in on a Saturday mid afternoon and sat at the bar. The restaurant/bar was not overly busy and I had a gift card. We waited 20 to 25 mins and finally left because although there was a bartender, he never greeted us or came over to take our order. We went next door and were immediately greeted and served. I think I'll just get take-out to use up my gift card next time. Update: I did, in fact, follow up as they asked in their response and no one answered my email. So, there's that.

One of our favorites in the lower town neighborhood. Lobster roll is my favorite, Noyes and Cutter is always great. They have the best fries in the neighborhood. Loved the pear salad when they still had it (hope they bring it back). Strawberry salad is a great replacement though. They also have great service.
