Story

Located in St. Paul’s vibrant Lowertown neighborhood, Barrio is where the community comes to kick back and have a good time. Dig into our all-you-can-eat taco bar loaded with fresh, flavorful ingredients for $12 at lunch or join us for scratch made enchiladas and quesadillas at dinner. With ten house margarita variations and an incredibly popular Happy Hour, Barrio is the perfect spot to hit before the Saints game, after a long day at work, or anytime you’re in the mood to unwind.

This place is pretty different from normal restaurants. It's best for small plates and tasting lots of different foods rather than one big meal. Food is different, not like you'd expect real authentic Mexican is, but it is really top notch on how it's prepared. A little more expensive, but very fresh. Definitely not low quality like Taco Bell. Haha. My server was awesome and very friendly and informative since it was my first time there. I plan to go back sometime with more friends. Ask for Amber if you're looking for great service. Best service I got from any server in along time!

Went out here for drinks! They're yummy! Would defiantly recommend going there. Awesome DJ, just about enough room to dance. Friendly staff!

Tacos were great. Cocktail was not. Tastes like a glass full of tequila (which isn't a bad thing if that's what you're expecting), but I ordered a mixed cocktail, not straight tequila.

Oh a perfect Augustus day, sunshine, warm and not overly windy when I asked for a table the hostess decided to seat me as far from the patio or open air as humanly possible. When she say the look of utter confusion on my face and turn back to look at the several tables by the open doors/windows clearly questioning why she wanted to seat me and my party as far from the fresh air as possible, it never dawned on her that anyone would want to sit outside. I've been here before and still can't fathom how they don't think of these things when doing their jobs. I have not yet ordered food or drinks and am deciding whether to stay or go to an alternate place for my meal. However it is not looking good.
