Providence Health Plans - Beaverton

Have had Providence plans for more than 10 years and been very happy with them. Have had good experiences with customer service most of the time.

This has been the worst experience that i have evwr had in my life. Its hard to make a appointment and when i did get in the clinic they gave me the wrong patient information and then gpt mad they made a mistake. I just dont understand, and i pay a loy for insurance every month.

Worst customer experience ever. It's Friday night at 5:30 and my daughter has seriously injured her shoulder in a basketball game. She needs an x-ray. Where do I go? I'm searching the internet for a Providence urgent care with x-ray capabilities. I find several that state they don't have an x-ray machine, but none that do. The customer service line is closed. The 24-hour medical advice nurse has no idea where to tell me to go. So, we spend 4 miserable hours at the ER, and then get a bill for $1200. Recently I learned that there is a Providence urgent care in Tigard with an x-ray, open until 7pm. We could have gone there and saved hundreds of dollars, but how would I have ever known? How does someone get this information when it's after hours and an emergency and the Providence website is AWFUL? The billing department said they could knock $100 off our bill, and that's it. The absolute worst.

The worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. I can't believe they have the audacity to call themselves Health "Care". They do not CARE. They dropped me for a $10 accidental underpayment and only reinstated me when the state of Oregon got involved on my behalf. They don't pay for anything - just one of the WORST experiences of my life in terms of so-called health CARE. Never again.

Providence canceled my health insurance with NO NOTICE because my premium was short by $20 (which somehow happened thanks to their terrible online bill pay platform) and when I called everybody was very rude, apathetic and not helpful and insisted that I got a delinquency notice by mail that I NEVER RECEIVED. Do not by any means do any business with this company they are dishonest and unwilling to do anything to help their customer.
