Cedar Hills Hospital

I have gotten to know the team at Cedar Hills over the past 9 months and value them as people and providers of care. I believe them them to be people of integrity who care deeply about the well being of those who seek out their help. In my opinion and experience their #1 concern is the well being of the client . They teach them how to live their lives sober, help them build a network of support and take the necessary steps to move forward in their personal recovery process. I am personally 4 years sober and have worked in the treatment industry for 3 years and would absolutely trust them with the well being of my friends and loved ones.

They try but are understaffed. Very difficult to get a response phone call from them for anything. Also very difficult to get any information from them about pretty much anything. Very nice when you actually talk to them though. The facility, though called a hospital does not have the professional atmosphere or cleanliness you get from acute psychiatric wings of full hospitals. Not the worst experience I have ever had, but far from the best.

Well my experience with them during 11/17 was great. Very well treatment. Let you sleep if needed, food great and Never forced to do things.

Better have lots of money to go here. If you need help don't go here. Especially if you are a veteran.

They pretty much just make sure you don't kill yourself, and that's all this place is really good for. They're incredibly disorganized. It took them an hour during checkout to even give me my "contraband" belongings back because they couldn't find them. Even after that, I was missing belongings from my bag, including my medication! They actually lost or stole my medication I checked in with, and didn't set me up with anything new and don't tell me to stop taking anything. In addition to this, billing is a mess. I sent in a financial aid request form back in February and it's the middle of June and I still haven't heard back. After calling several times, I was informed that the CFO reviews them whenever he feels like it and there's no control over when that happens. For all I know, he won't even look at it. Contacting the financial aid office is impossible. I try all the time and they never answer and never call back. Recently my call was actually transferred to another PATIENT. I don't even have a payment plan in place. I just pray that sending $10 here and there will prevent things from going to collections. Don't go here, especially if finances are a concern.
