OHSU Spine Center Beaverton Clinic

This is not a review on the actual health care, this is a review of the jumbled, disorganized, terrible way they've set up their system. We moved here early November and I've been trying to establish care ever since. Along with physically going to the clinic to figure out how to gain care, there have also been several phone calls, most of which have ended in a voicemail box wherein I ask them to please please call me back, and then they do. A week later. Throughout all of this, I have transferred my entire medical record to them from my old state, a referral from an ER doctor from my old state, and insurance from my old state. Yet until yesterday, 2 and a half months after we started this whole thing, I finally learned that "Oh, we don't accept out of state referrals." Excuse me? This would've been so nice to have heard about when I first walked into the clinic with all of my paperwork showing that I'm not from this state, or when I was setting up my account with you where you all could clearly see that most of the information was from my old state. But no. I had to go 2 and a half months without care because I thought I was finally getting somewhere. Fix. Your. Bloody. System. Now I've got to start all over, and it's probably gonna be another month before I can see someone.

I was there over a year ago. I've had spinal issues for years. I even brought my own records. They didn't bother looking. They had me confused with another patient altogether. Unless you have a boatload of cash, and top notch insurance, trust me. you'll fall through the cracks. I'm bone on bone, limp, have chronic fractures. They offered me physical therapy. Had they looked at my file, I've gone on 3 different sets of physical therapy. I don't want to drive farther than I have to, so decided to give them another try. I just received a call from my neurologist, saying they had been trying to reach me but I won't return their calls? Excuse me?! Big ol lie right there! Why didn't they leave a message to call me back? No, they didn't call, not ONCE! One headache after the next with this whole healthcare system. Get it together people! Your patients are in extreme pain, and the stress you put us through does NOT make matters any better. I repeat, get it together! Please. I would like some quality of life. Thank you!
