Story

At ProActive Pilates, clients will find much more than a simple physiotherapy treatment. I teach the proven techniques that improve core activation and stabilization patterns, mobility, and agility.

About Dana D'Abreo:
Dana is a physiotherapist, national team athlete, and has been a professional in the wellness industry over 20 years. She’s conquered cancer three times and is stronger each day because of it.

Dana’s focus is teaching individuals how to incorporate core activation into everyday functional activities. As a mom of two, she has first-hand knowledge on how pregnancies and children impact the body and posture, and continues to take courses in women’s health, Stott Pilates, Pfilates, Zen-ga (fascial fitness), and Stretch Therapy.

I have seen Dana D'Abreo at Proactive Pilates several times now and have seen a massive reduction in pain. I am always impressed with her dedication to staying up on the latest techniques through her unique approach through pilates (yes, she is covered by benefits plans as a licensed Physio) for helping her clients and I appreciate all of the care she takes to teach me how to work on the stretches & exercises at home. Dana has taught me about muscles I didn't even know I had and how important they are in the health of my back and my pelvis and I must say that my pelvic floor has never been in better shape thanks to Dana!! I took her Stretch Therapy workshop twice last year; they were high tech, fun and effective. I felt like my entire body had relaxed and my mood was much more relaxed than when I walked in. Thanks so much Dana!
