ProActive Health - Oakville Physiotherapist

I have been coming here since October 2013. I have have had the most outstanding care and service! They handled my injuries with tender care from day one, and continue today. When I first arrived, I was very apprehensive about letting anyone touch me, as my injuries were very multiple, and I was in severe pain. Laurie reviewed my multiple medical reports herself and then consulted with a doctor. Laurie then determine the best way to to move forward with my treatment plan. Laurie and her team, gained my trust, and I was able to move forward with my healing. Michelle is currently my physiotherapist and she is amazing!!! She pinpoints my areas of concern by listening carefully, diagnosing, then takes action with her healing hands. Not only does she work on my injured area, she always ensures that there is time to do her miracle workings on my Lymphadema areas! I refer Laurie and her wonderful team to many others. They are amazing professionals!

I have been going to the clinic for about six months now and have received excellent service and treatment from everyone there. Laurie and Michele for physiotherapy and now Harsharn for some acupuncture. I feel my condition is being well diagnosed , treated and cared for. My feelings and feedback always welcome and discussed. I feel I am improving and we have a solid plan in place. The front desk staff always cheerful and welcoming. Happy to see Anne's big smile and sense of humour. Debbie has been very kind and friendly to me as well. Overall an excellent experience and well recommended by me.

Michele takes the time to examine you thoroughly and carefully which helps her to really see why your body is acting the way it does. She shows you exercises that help manage the pain by releasing and adjusting your muscles. I have been to many physiotherapists, chiropractors, etc., but I can say she has given me the hope to one day feel pain free. It is important to keep in mind that we must follow her exercise routine and instructions to see the results.

I work with Michelle and she is helping me a lot. I have had really bad issues with my back/shoulder and after two years of suffering I feel that Michelle is the only one who has has properly diagnosed my problem. The exercises she gives me actually help. She is also really thorough and uses useful imagery to help explain how I need to move in a given exercise so when I'm doing it I have an idea of whether I'm being effective (it's hard to tell sometimes when you have pain/injury). Would recommend this clinic. My problem has to do with alignment / posture but I would probably come back here first for any other injury or physio needs.

Laurie is an excellent physiotherapist. She was able to diagnose my problem when 2 previous professionals could not, She is punctual and her techniques are effective. Laurie is also personable and accessible. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
