We tried the classic set menu for two and wow. These are common Thai dishes perfected through a delicate balance of flavours. Each dish was light yet bold. The heartiness of each dish comforts you while the bright and spicy flavours wakes you up for the next bite. The set menu isn’t just a highlight of the classics - it’s an endless rotation of complimenting flavours until the plates are suddenly empty. My only regret was that I was too full to try the mango sticky rice. I can’t wait to return and try their other dishes.nnThank you to the friendly staff that made our dining experience that much greater.
Pii Nong is a cute classy vibe. I’m not the biggest fan of the location but it’s a place you should definitely try. Beware it’s a very high traffic area, paid parking is available near by, there’s a few lots or street parking.nnFood came out fairly quick. We got the chicken green curry and I was it was spicier but it was more mild & coconut base. The crispy beef was one of my favourites, super flavourful! A must try! Pad See Ew was good, I’ve had better but still tasted good, we asked for extra spicy and it was spicy. The fried rice has bigger chunks of pinapple, it wasn’t as sweet as I would have liked it to be but it was good. I love the large shrimp it came with!nnI would recommend trying this place at-least once. I was too full to order a drink but a lot of people were drinking the Teddy Bear Tea, it was super cute to see !!
The food we ordered was exceptional! The menu has a large variety of authentic Thai dishes to select and all then dishes we had were all consistently delicious. The servers are very kind and friendly, the atmosphere and decor is just right, not too fancy but chic. Love their deep fried mini crab, it was the highlight. The only down side was parking, it’s difficult to find a spot especially on a weekend.
We went on Victoria Day for dinner since we were in the area. Luckily, we didn't have to wait for the table. The service was good. The food were fine: the noodles was a bit sweet to me, the papaya salad was good, the skewers were fine but so small for $17. I guess the price matches with the location.
I recently visited Pii Nong and left impressed by the entire experience. The Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls arrived golden and packed with tender chicken and noodles. A light fish sauce added a pleasant bite. I also enjoyed the Pattaya Beach Mojito, which blended gin and herbs into a refreshing sip. The Thai Iced Tea Bear Set allowed me to pour in evaporated milk and tweak the sweetness to my liking.nThe Pandan Leaf Chicken was a highlight, each piece wrapped and served with a sweet chili sauce. The Spiced Short Ribs delivered serious heat, though the portion could have used more meat. I capped off the meal with the Durian Roti, featuring a rich center that any durian lover would appreciate.nFrom start to finish, the staff ensured I felt well taken care of, and the atmosphere felt authentically Thai. With so many delicious options on the menu, this spot makes for a memorable night out, whether you are on a date or simply craving a satisfying Thai feast.
