I had the pleasure of dining at a Thai restaurant that came highly recommended by a friend and was Michelin-recommended. She advised me to make a reservation to avoid a potential lineup. As it turned out, I arrived early and was able to avoid the wait. Our meal consisted of a beer, appetizer, and entrees, all of which were outstanding. We selected the platter, which featured shrimp and onions wrapped in leaves with a variety of seasonings, including pepper and shrimp powder. The dish was incredibly flavorful. Our curry with chicken was served with rice wrapped in leaves to keep it warm, which I thought was thoughtful. Additionally, we tried the pork rib in tomato sauce, which was tender and flavorful. The entire dinner was exceptional, and unfortunately, we were too full to try the coconut ice cream, which we look forward to sampling on our next visit. The servers were very friendly and explained each dish to us every time they brought one over, asking if we had ever tried it and explaining how to eat it. The only thing I did not like was the guy who arranged and coordinated the tables; he kept asking us if we needed to order anything or if we were okay getting desserts, or if we were not getting anything. I felt he was rushing us so he could get the table for someone else. Overall the dining experience was really good, we really enjoyed it.
One of the best Thai spots I’ve been to! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The drinks were also really good, adding to the great experience. The atmosphere was lively, and it’s a perfect spot to share plates with friends or family. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Thai food!
This is one of the best spots for Thai food downtown. The restaurant is spacious enough to seat over 50 customers at a time, though the queues can get quite long around lunchtime on weekdays.nnThe food was excellent overall. The Pad Khra Pao stood out with the perfect balance of basil and a generous portion of beef. The fried rice was flavorful and satisfying. However, the Pad Thai was underwhelming—given the price, I expected a more authentic flavor. On the other hand, the Thai BBQ chicken starter was fantastic, and the mango salad was impressively fresh with just the right amount of sweetness. It's also worth mentioning that the dishes offer good value for money. For those who love spicy food, you can request chili oil on the side if the standard Thai spice level isn’t enough.nnOverall, it’s a great spot with delicious food and efficient service. Despite the busy atmosphere, they manage to keep things moving quickly. Highly recommended!
Overall, it was a great experience. The food was not totally worth the hype. The Thai green curry is one of the best I've had in Toronto. They have the option to get chilli oil on the side so that you could adjust the heat level as per your taste. The service is fast and the servers are very professional and kind. We had a great time.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was absolutely perfect, staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was amazing. However, the only downside was the pricing, which felt a bit too high for what we ordered. Overall, it’s a great spot for a special treat, but be prepared to spend a little more than expected!
