We tried several vegetarian dishes like the Green Curry and Pad Thai — both were full of authentic flavor and perfectly balanced. They were also very accommodating to our Jain friend and customized a dish to suit her dietary restrictions. Great food, friendly service, and worth the ~$40 per person. Would definitely recommend! Overall, it was wonderful experience!
I've visited the Midtown location of PAI multiple times over the past few years. There's a period when I felt the food quality had slightly declined, but on my most recent visit with friends, I was happy to find that it has improved again.nnThe interior has a relaxed Southeast Asian vibe, very casual and relaxed, making it a comfortable place to gather.nnEverything we ordered was enjoyable. Compared to the fried chicken wings, we preferred the pork skewers, which were flavorful and satisfying. The Khao Soi has the soup that was rich, aromatic and deeply comforting. Mango sticky rice was good like always.nnI also would recommend the Pad Gra Prow stir-fried meat with rice, it is my favorite dish from PAI.nnI'll definitely continue coming back to this location.
The food here had me craving another visit before I even left the building. Every single dish made us happy with every bite. We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, pad gra pao, and the new crispy pork belly dish. We also got the Thai wings to start.nnHonestly, it is hard to choose a favourite because everything was sooo good, but if I had to pick, the pad see ew was the standout for me. The thick, chewy noodles were perfect.nnCannot wait to come back again!
Pai Northern Thai Restaurant is an exceptional choice, especially for large groups. We visited with a group of 17 and were accommodated in a private seating area that was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The pricing felt fair and well-justified for the quality and portion sizes.nnWe ordered an extensive spread of starters and mains, and everything was impressively executed. Although I arrived a little late, I tried the crunchy fritters and shrimp chips—perfectly crisp, bold in flavor, and highly addictive. The honey dipping sauce was a standout.nnFor the mains, I ordered the Khao Soi Chicken and the Chef’s Special Pad Thai Shrimp. Both dishes were excellent, but the Khao Soi truly stole the spotlight. The noodles were silky, soaked in a rich, creamy broth, and incredibly comforting.nnCustomer service was quick, attentive, and well-coordinated despite the large group size. Reservations are highly recommended for big groups, as the restaurant gets busy.nnOverall, a well-rounded dining experience with strong flavors, efficient service, fair pricing, and excellent group accommodations. Highly recommended and definitely worth a repeat visit.
Don’t let the unassuming door fool you once you head upstairs, the space opens up into an expansive, vibrant dining room, complete with a stage in the corner. The atmosphere is incredible.nAs for the food, the Thai Red Curry was absolutely delicious. Such a great spot for both the vibe and the flavors. Highly recommend!
