Had dinner with a friend. The moment we got to the door, the staff was extremely accommodating. Apparently it was popular enough to need a reservation. hint, hintnnPrices were reasonable, around $20-30 a plate. The waitstaff was attentive and made great suggestions for new people not familiar with Thai taste.nnI got a lot of value for the food as the portions were enough to make me full.nnA great experience overall for people who aren't use to the Thai favor, reasonably priced, and adventurous people who want to dabble with spice. Thai hot, wasn't too hot, at least for me.
We went there for a friend's birthday celebration. It's a very cozy place with very instgrammble food. Taste wise, it was not my favorite Thai place in the city, but it was still good. The coconut green curry was rather mild, and pad thai was a bit bland. I loved the Islamic noodles, and the mango sticky rice was fantastic.
Really good dishes and vibes. Spices for the dishes vary on different levels, from mild to Thai spicy. Had the Thai calamari to start which comes with 3 different dips: sweet chili, spicy mayo, and I think a basil sauce? All of which were really good. Then had the panang curry which is a red curry with coconut milk, comes with a decent amount of vegetables and tofu, but you could also choose chicken, beef and shrimp options. The coconut rice that came with it had a strong coconut taste which was nice. The famous Pad Thai had chewy noodles, lobster was alright but the shrimp was really good. Thai ice tea was a little diluted, could do with more condensed milk. Overall great experience, small restaurant tucked away in Danforth to give you an authentic Thai restaurant experience. Washrooms are clean, staff are nice and attentive.nnHighly recommend making a reservation if you want to dine in on a weekend or Friday night. Take out is also an option and seems like lots of people in the area enjoy this option.nnThey also have an alcoholic menu if you're into that.nnWould definitely go again to try their other dishes.
I recommend it!nThe food was delicious and not very expensive because the portions were big. We ordered 3 appetizers for 5 people and after that everyone ordered the main. There was too much food for us, but we can't complain:nThe waiter was very friendly and helpful. She even gave us a slice of cheesecake because it was my husband's birthday.
Service was amazing…. Didn’t have to ask for anything. Waitress was always checking-in and refilling our waters. The Food was the best I have had for Thai food in Ontario. We had the pineapple beef rice, and the chicken pad thai. Both of these were great but I recommend the pineapple beef rice Thai spicey. The atmosphere was decent but could use some more up to date features.
