Warning: this place does not do brunch!nMy friends and I had booked a reservation here specifically to try the brunch menu advertised on their website & socials, only to arrive and be told that it is only offered at their Junction and York Mills locations. We were slightly disappointed, but no big deal - we stuck around for a Thai lunch. The server seemed very apologetic and said they would mention the issue to their manager.nAs for the food - all around delicious! No one had any complaints.nKhao Soi - tasted pretty in line with most Khao Soi I have tried, including those in Thailand that is to say, very good.nMy friends said both the Pad See Ew and the Ginger Stir Fry were more flavourful than others they’ve tried.nThe portions were large, presentation was beautiful and the prices are quite reasonable. We really wanted to try their desserts which looked impeccable but were way too full! Will have to come back.nService was decent it was a pretty full restaurant with just one server, but the food came out relatively quickly.
The food was delicious.I had the chicken fried rice but the next time I go back which may be next month.I am having the curry pad Thai that dish was dishing it hit the spot so many different flavors were captured. The staff 10/10 Wish I could of kiss the chef lol just kidding. But you must try. That Thai ice tea was a hit. Let me know what your experience was.
We had an incredible meal at Chiang Mai last night, their Khoa soi was top notch and huge and their Tom Yum Pad Thai ranks as one of the if not the best Pas Thai I’ve ever had.nnWould have been perfect scores across all three categories but I had one change I asked to be made to my meal and it didn’t happen even after the waitress double confirmed, and as they got busy they added a table to the aisle, making it hard to even get out of my seat the new table was so close.
I came here on a Sunday afternoon for a girls lunch and we had such a great experience!nnThis was my first time trying Chiang Mai and the food was absolutely delicious!nnWe got two orders of the spring rolls as an appetizer and I also got the Thai iced tea, which were delicious and really hit the spot.nnMy sister and I decided to share the Thai Basil fried rice with chicken and their signature Pad Thai. Both of these dishes were really good. They had great flavor and the portions were also pretty generous.nnWe were party of three that came around 2 p.m. and as the afternoon went on the restaurant definitely got busier and busier. we were there for a few hours and not once did our server try to push us out or try to give us our bill before we were ready which I really appreciated.nnOverall, I really enjoyed my first experience here and I will definitely be back. I know that there are a few other Chiang Mai locations around the GTA, so based off this experience, I will definitely be checking out the other locations as well!
I came to enjoy a solo lunch and it was perfect. I ordered two appetisers and both were delicious, presented beautifully and delivered quickly. The chicken satay was the best I've had in quite awhile, very good sauce and large chicken skewers. Service was genuine and very friendly. Can't wait to return!
