I came here on a Sunday afternoon for a girls lunch and we had such a great experience!nnThis was my first time trying Chiang Mai and the food was absolutely delicious!nnWe got two orders of the spring rolls as an appetizer and I also got the Thai iced tea, which were delicious and really hit the spot.nnMy sister and I decided to share the Thai Basil fried rice with chicken and their signature Pad Thai. Both of these dishes were really good. They had great flavor and the portions were also pretty generous.nnWe were party of three that came around 2 p.m. and as the afternoon went on the restaurant definitely got busier and busier. we were there for a few hours and not once did our server try to push us out or try to give us our bill before we were ready which I really appreciated.nnOverall, I really enjoyed my first experience here and I will definitely be back. I know that there are a few other Chiang Mai locations around the GTA, so based off this experience, I will definitely be checking out the other locations as well!
Great spot for delicious food. It's a small, laid back place with a great vibe. We ordered Khao Soi, spring rolls, and Cashew chicken stir fry. Everything was scrumptious. Highly recommend
I recently visited this restaurant on a weekday evening for dinner. We ordered the Malay Curry and the Famous Pad Thai, both with vegetables and tofu. The quality and quantity of the food were adequate. The price is a few bucks more compared to other Thai places, but the quantity justifies it. The staff members were friendly and quick. The only issue was that the restaurant is quite small. While this isn’t usually a problem, there was a fishy smell at our table, so we moved to another one since there were a few available at the entrance. There was no smell there. However, I would think twice before going to this restaurant on a weekend, when I might not have the option to choose a table and might have to tolerate the smell. I’ve visited many Thai restaurants, both large and small, but this smell issue has never happened before. If I hadn’t been able to change tables, the smell could have spoiled my evening.
Portions were big, which makes it good for sharing. The Holy Basil was too salty, and the mango sticky rice didn’t quite deliver. The service was good, servers were attentive and friendly. Might give it another shot with different dishes.
Deep fried sweet potato is okay. But it could be more crispy.nCurries are mostly tasty. Wouldn't recommend beef for it though. Too tough and it almost hurt my teeth.nNice interior and friendly staff.
