This location has been on my bucket list for so long, and I cannot believe that I did not visit this location sooner! Delicious food! Typically, when I request spicy or extra spicy, the food is not spicy, however, the spice levels were phenomenal and on point! I would recommend this location to everyone and I would definitely visit again! Quick service food arrived at our table very quickly!nnWe ordered spring rolls that honestly we probably shouldn’t have, however, the shrimp pad Thai and beef pad kee mao were DELICIOUS!!!!!!!nnWe also enjoyed the Thai milk, tea!
First time at Koh Lipe Thai Kitchen, it was amazing! The service was great, we sat in their patio which was great after our long winter. The service was friendly and quick l, the food was fresh and delicious. The mango sticky rice was amazing! The interior of the restaurant was decorated very beautifully as well! I will for sure be back and recommend to my friends!
I recently visited Koh Lipe Thai Kitchen, a Michelin Guide listed restaurant in downtown Toronto.nnThe restaurant focuses on Southern Thai cuisine, which is quite different from the Northern Thai style that many Toronto restaurants serve.nnWe ordered several dishes. The Hor Mok Roulade steamed fish curry mousse was delicate and fragrant with coconut milk and lime.nnThe Mee Puu blue crab curry with vermicelli was visually striking because the noodles are naturally dyed with butterfly pea flower, and the curry itself was rich and flavorful.nnThe Choo Chee Pla Too mackerel in red curry had a creamy coconut curry sauce that paired well with rice.nnFor dessert, the Pandan Toast with pandan custard and coconut ice cream was very enjoyable, and the Mango Sticky Rice was classic and well balanced.nnOverall, the flavors were bold, spicy, and aromatic—very representative of Southern Thai cuisine. Service was good, but the restaurant gets quite busy, so reservations are recommended.nnExpect around $50 per person depending on what you order.
Michelin guide restaurant located on the popular Baldwin St area behind hospital row.nnThe restaurant has a nice warm vibe. The walls have beautiful artwork and there are hanging decorations. There's a heated and covered patio to allow additional diners. The second floor has additional seating and washrooms.nnThe food was excellent. My wife got the chicken pad thai and I got the Pad Gra Pao. The pad thai has good portion of chicken, tofu, noodles. The Pad Gra pao has fried pieces of pork belly and fried egg on top of the rice. One word, delicious. Only gripe I had was the steamed rice was cold.nnThe server is warm and welcoming and we enjoyed our experience here. I would recommend a visit here if you are looking for some authentic Thai comfort food.
This was some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had in Toronto! My colleagues came here for a work lunch. They accept walk-ins but are very busy, so I would recommend making a reservation.nnThe restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with traditional Thai art and objects. The staff were all kind and helpful. They had some great recommendations!nnI got a Thai Milk Tea, and the Luok Jhim Seafood Platter. The milk tea hit the spot I LOVE Thai Milk Tea and the seafood was all cooked to perfection. To top it off, the chilli lime sauce added a refreshing yet spicy kick, and the lettuce wraps were great for holding everything together. The mussels and squid were my favourites!nnFor dessert, we got their Coconut Ice Cream with Pandan on Golden Toast. It was so lush and delicious! I will definitely be returning again to try their Mango Sticky Rice - I can’t wait!
