A friend recommended this Thai restaurant, and I’m so glad I tried it! We visited on a Sunday evening and were informed of a 90-minute dining limit once seated.nnEvery dish we tried was fantastic, especially the appetizer pork belly – it was super crispy, and the seafood salad a signature dish was packed with an impressive amount of seafood. We were asked about the spicy level, and we chose medium, though it ended up being quite mild.nnWe were hoping to enjoy dessert as well, but unfortunately, we ran out of time. Definitely recommend booking a table in advance!
I've been back here twice, which says a lot considering the endless selection of restaurants in Toronto. Koh Lipe's menu is fantastic, and the food tastes incredibly good. It has a cozy atmosphere and the decorations reflect Thailand's charm.nnThe service here is brilliant. The staff are kind and sweet without being overbearing. I wish more restaurant staff could adopt the same attitude. Every time I leave, I feel great on every level. So, I'm confident bringing people here, knowing it'll leave a great impression.nnThis place is absolutely worth it. Plan ahead and get a reservation to avoid having to wait.
Went to this place when I visited Toronto and I loved it! The food here was so flavourful and it was one of the best Thai foods I ever had. We went around 7pm on a weekday and it was busy but we were able to be sat quickly. We loved the pork with rice & egg, the pork was cooked just right and it was so flavourful and it went perfectly with the rice. I also recommend getting the pineapple rice, it was aesthetic and delicious even tho I’m not a big fan of pineapple w salty foods. Will definitely return next time I visit Toronto again and try their drinks and other dishes. The interior of the restaurant is also really pretty and the vibes were good.
I went to this place when I had a day in Toronto just the past weekend. This is a cute little place. The service was excellent and the food was brought out hot and quickly as well. If you're craving some Thai food this is the place to go. Toronto always had good Thai food and I'm going to add this place to my list of restaurants to go back to. We ordered a few dishes to share and everything was seasoned to perfection. We did not go wrong with anything we ordered. I'll definitely want to go back to try other dishes from this place
We came here for Valentine’s Day and were happy that we chose this restaurant.nnThere seems to be 2 sides with different vibes, we were led to a darker underwater-themed bar area and seated at a booth.nnThe service was very attentive and quick - our waters were always filled and the food came out within 10 minutes surprisingly! Which was great because we were hangry.nnAll of the dishes were amazing, we opted for a milder spice which was perfect. I’d only suggest getting the Pad Thai as a medium at least because it wasn’t too spicy and was quite sweet not in a bad way. The portion size for the Khao Pad Pla was bigger than we expected!nnWould return!nnWhat we ordered:nn Khao Pad Pla $26.95nFried rice with mackerel fish, egg, onion, carrot, lemongrass and topped with kastuobushi flakesnnChicken Pad Thai $20.95nRice noodles, egg, tofu, bean sprouts, chives, tamarind sauce, and ground peanutnn Luok Jhim $35.95nSteamed shrimps, mussels, squid, fish served with chilli lime sauce - came with lettuce and noodles
