Decided to stop on at the mall for lunch and stumbled upon this place. While the staff was nice and accomodating, i can not say the food was on par to the viet restaurants i am used to. While the pricing is lower it reflects in the dishes. Flavours were not great, and while the portions were decent it was mostly noodles as filler. While it filled us up and lunch was at decent price. This was not a place to get my viet fix.
It's been a long time since I've been here to eat. During COVID it's been shut down because of not enough customers and the construction in the parking lot blocking the back entrance. But, now it's open again and I'm glad they are. Food is as good as when I last came over 2 years ago and service is fast and friendly! Just remember that you have to enter from inside the mall... Enjoy!
Cute little gem hidden inside Woodside Square Mall. I was craving noodle soup and remembered there was a restaurant inside the mall. I ordered the Beef Flank Brisket noodle soup and 4 juices. The beef was cooked just right and very flavourful....mmmm yummy The price was great too. I had a large soup for $12 and you get your pot of tea with it.
This used to be our go to place years ago when the kids were young, haven’t been back for awhile. The used to live the Pho here and we used to come at least once or twice a month. Today we were passing by the mall and decided to give it a try. So glad we did the food tasted so good! Not sure why we hadn’t been back. Definitely will come back soon! Still the same owners from when we were here 15 years ago. This place has been here for over 20 years. This must tell you the place is good!
Pho Xe Lua is always comes up as a favourite for me -- prices are reasonable, food is delicious and the staff there are very friendly. The picture I attached is the lamb curry and it comes with either rice or bread and is well worth the price. Of course, they also have their pho and their tasty soup, which is also a great option on a cold day. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and give it a full 10/10.
Im Vietnamese, I can tell that this is a Chinese establishment cooking unauthentic Vietnamese cuisine. I asked for thick noodles, I don't know what their definition of thick is but from the attached photos it's not thick. For a large I barely got any meat, all in all they're are better Vietnamese options near by
Food is horrible. Order Bun with spring roll and grilled pork. The Vermicelli were so soft that a ninety year old can eat. No need to chew. The pork was tough. Worst Bun I have eaten bin my lifetime. Sorry wrong place to have Vietnamese food
this is the best viet restaurant!!!! my gf and i love their pho
I pay $5dollar for this pork chop and it looks like it's been bitten already. not mentioning the size. and this meat balls caused me $6 dollar. look gross
This has been one of our favourite spots for more than a decade. The owners are warm and friendly, and their staff have been wonderful!
