Go to place for pho and authentic Vietnamese food. Broth was clear and flavourful, not too heavy. Basil and bean sprouts were fresh. Vietnamese coffee hit the spot. One thing I like about this place is the appetizers that you don’t find else where; like the beef wrapped in herb leaves, beef salad, shrimp crackers topped with vermicelli and fried pork. Their take out is not bad either. Would definitely recommend trying this place if you’re searching for Vietnamese food in Scarborough.
Great food, good service! I recommend the Bun Bo Hue spicy noodles with beef and pork, Chicken Salad, and vermicelli noodles with spring rolls, grilled chicken, and veggies. forgot the exact dish name The washroom is a bit of a tight squeeze unfortunately, so if you're a bigger person you might be uncomfortable.
We got Pho Nam Bo Vien, Pho Tai Gam Bo Vien, Bun Cha Gio Ga Nuong and Banh Cuon. Their Pho came in big portion even for size small, the Broth was clear but RICH in flavour, Raw Beef, Brisket, Tendons were all very tender, and Beef Balls had a very good bouncy texture! Bun Cha Gio Ga Nuong was Grilled Lemongrass Chicken, Spring Roll Vermicelli, the Chicken was grilled to perfection, smokey, well-seasoned, tender, juicy, Spring Rolls were HUGE, it came loaded in fillings and very crispy, this also came in a MASSIVE portion, gosh it was bomb! Banh Cuon came in 5 pieces of steamed Rice Rolls that were filled with Pork & Black Fungus, it also had Viet Sausage slices on the side, it made the most perfect appetizer!
One of the better pho spots around me with generous portions. Ordered the XL P01 pho and was shared among 3 people. Also ordered 2 sides - a crispy spring roll and fresh roll. I’d say the prices are good compared to other pho spots around and especially for the portions they give. Service is okay. Nothing above expectations but not horrible. Food came out with a reasonable amount of time. Utensils as well as condiments are already on the table making it very convenient. This is a pretty convenient location as there’s a supermarket next to it so you can run grocery errands after/before your meal! There’s a huge parking lot for the plaza so parking shouldn’t be an issue.
This restaurant is an improvement over the previous Vietnamese restaurant that used to be here but they still have a long way to go. The Pho here wasn't bad but it was mostly noodles and very little meat. The fried spring rolls here are actually one of the best in the city and are a must try if you're ever here. Prices are about average for a Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The dining room is in desperate need of a makeover. Service is pretty much drop and go as with most Vietnamese restaurants you find in the city. V
Great authentic Vietnamese restaurant for some good hearty pho or any other dishes. Used to be my childhood Pho 88 spot. Service was okay, there were TVs available. LLBO for those who want a beer with their spring rolls. Good sauces, interesting to see bean sprouts already in the noodle and cabbage served on the side.
Authentic pho spot with good food. I mainly come here for just their pho as it tastes authentic and flavourful and sometimes I’ll get their fresh shrimp rolls when I’m feeling extra hungry. Their Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk is great tasting and totally worth getting! It’s my go to spot when I’m craving pho and even better the fact that they’re a one minute drive away from where I live. Highly recommend!
First time visiting this Viet restaurant. It is located in a plaza. We enjoyed the food we would love to come back and try the dinner for 2 fish meal. The restaurant is clean and well maintained.
The noodle soups are very good. They serve some different kinds that are not available in Edmonton. Like the one that I show in the picture: Duck leg wheat noodle soup. I always like to try something new.Food: 4/5
One of the best spring rolls that can be bought in a pho place! The vermicelli, pho, curry, and rice is not bad either. Definitely a good fairly priced Asian pho place to try if you’re by the area. Also, durian milkshake is pretty good ... depending on who makes it haha.
