Was a bit skeptical if this place was worthy of lining up for dinner, about half an hour wait when I went. In the end, the stone pot beef pho was really flavourful and beef was tender. The vermicelli was above average but not spectacular. So final conclusion is that this place is worth visiting, but not worth the wait so try to find a less busy time to go.
The best Pho Bo in town, truly authentic beef bone broth, with plentiful fresh herbs. Fresh ingredients are used. Price is above average but it worth every penny. Young vibrant and polite staff, the restaurant take pride in their origin as authenticity. Nicely decorated interior. I had a mild Post-dining MSG hangover.
Unique decor, well-balanced pho broth, generous portions of meat. Fresh noodles were a great touch. Haven’t had pho that hits like this in a while. Went early evening for dinner and it was quick and attentive service. Great job!
Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food in an unpretentious spot. The pho broth of the stone pot pho was phenomenal. Portions are big and service is fast. The place is also decorated cutely with vintage antiques. They always have a lineup so go early. No reservations.
Loved the lively & well-decorated atmosphere! It’s definitely super busy during peak hours so there might be a bit of a wait. The presentation of the food is amazing & portions are good. Meat for the pho is great quality & generous amount compared to other spots. One thing about the vermicelli is the fried crab cake is a bit oily so the oil leaks to the vermicelli & ends up having a bit of an oily taste. Otherwise, both dishes are tasty.
Great food and atmosphere. A bit pricier than most Vietnamese restaurants, but you can tell the food is higher quality. The pho broth is a bit on the more flavourful side with the herbs and aromatics coming through. I don't recommend putting as much sauce in as usual.
Ordered 06 and 31, 06 was good, the broth flavourful and noodles are fresh and soft. Stone bowl kept it hot til the end! 31 was so-so, broth was just spicy, no deep flavors. I would return but would order the regular soup base pho only. Spring rolls was good!
Wow what a busy place! It's a fairly new place opened in July 2022 so it makes sense that many people are are curious and want to try the new new. We didn't queue for long but it was at 1:30-2pm on a Tuesday. We were fourth in queue but we got seated within 5 minutes. The energy in the atmosphere is high and certainly very busy for the full house of staff as the customers kept piling in and food orders were being sent out in a timely manner. The wait for our food didn't take too long as we got to sit and admire the Vietnamese decor all around. We ordered bún chả Hanoi, bún riêu cua and an appetizer with a coconut smoothie and wintermelon drink. I just had authentic bún chả Hanoi in Hanoi, Vietnam a few weeks ago so I was craving it. Didn't taste the same as the meat was a little tougher than what I had in Vietnam's #1 spot in Hanoi. My boyfriend said he had better bún riêu cua but we just think that we didn't order the right signature dishes like the couple who sat next to our table. The dishes we had weren't at all bad. They were still tasty. The couple next to us had some serious pho orders like the bone marrow pho and some fancy pho with ingredients served separately with a burning hot pot of soup. We thought the staff should've taught them how to eat the hot dish because they poured everything in and the hot soup was overflowing over the rim of the bowl. It would be neat if they had an instruction sheet on how to enjoy pho the authentic Vietnamese way as a fun and educative way. We would definitely return and try other items on the menu!
Food - Amazing! The presentation, size, and taste were beyond my expectations. Their selection of Vietnamese food make me happy. They have dishes that are rare to find at other restaurants such as Banh Xeo. It gets a thumbs up from me. Service - Quick, friendly and professional. They quickly seated in the late afternoon. The majority of the staff are Vietnamese too! Decor - Beautiful interior! It gives me a vintage Vietnam field. There was a Cherry blossom tree, retro tech, and the lighting was so nice. Definitely, one of the most best decor I've seen by far. I highly recommend you to try them out if you are looking for fresh Viet food!
Went for Friday lunch and it got pretty busy, there was a line by the time we left! The place is very nicely decorated and there's just so much to look at. The pho broth is rich, has a char taste to it, and the cuts of meat were delicious. I would definitely go back and try their other dishes as well.
