Very good. Doesn't stick around for over 20+ years if they make lousy food. Spring rolls are outstanding as with the beef vermicelli. Odd location but worth the trip.
Post rainy day dinner, decided to go for Pho. Visited Pho Kim Po on a Wednesday evening since I was craving Pho on a rainy day. Except it became sunny when I got here. Starting with the food I the Pho Dac Biet House Special Pho and Bun Cha Gio Ga Nuong Spring Rolls and Grilled Pork on Vermicelli. For the Pho, I actually like the broth. It was tasty and didn't leave me thirsty like some other places. One thing I didn't like however is that there's not a lot of meat. There's another Pho I know that is more generous. But this is average amount which is alright. Another thing I didn't like is the noodles were all bunched up and stuck together. For the vermicelli dish, I enjoyed this a lot. The spring rolls were very crispy. The pork chop was marinated with lemon grass which made it delicious. Next is the location, it's it an obscure place near Steeles and Kennedy. May be hard to find but worth finding. The inside is big enough and can fit about 10 groups plus some high chairs for individual diners. For the service, it was really quick and we didn't wait long for the food. I enjoyed my time here but this place did not make my top 3 Pho restaurants. Definitely in the top 7 though. Check this place out nonetheless if you're craving Vietnamese cuisine!
I tried Bun Bo Hue for the second time here and substituted the noodles for thin flat rice noodles was definitely the move. It was delicious but I think their original pho is even better. Solid place with delicious broth! Ordered: - Bun Bo Hue 4/5 Overall: 4/5
Can’t remember how many times I come back AGAIN, they are this good to be honest. Noodles are amazing, true authentic Vietnamese taste. Love love their Vietnam Coffee, the sugar and high caffeine hits you at the same time, never went there without ordering their coffee.
Great food and service as well as the price. Got the grilled beef with noodles and grilled chicken with noodles. It was hearty not greasy and hit the spot. Definitely will be going back to this place.
If you’re not getting the house noodles, you’re doing it wrong! We’ve come here for years and have never been disappointed. The noodles are unique to any Vietnamese place in the GTA.
My parents like going here when they want Vietnamese, but aren't in the mood for pho. Right across from Pacific Mall, this Vietnamese restaurant is always fairly busy when we go. What we got: - House Phuc Kien Noodle Soup not pictured - Hu Tieu Mi Kimpo - Springroll and Chicken Vermicelli Bowl Final Thoughts: This is one of those restaurants that feels very homey and you can't expect phenomenal service, but that's also not why you're here. If you want to switch things up from your usual pho, definitely stop by and give their other noodle soups a taste!
Small homey restaurant. Ordered the large pho and spring rolls. It is quite nice and flavourful. Recommend a visit if around the area.
Short: A-OK. Good social distancing: I was offered to choose where to sit inside or outside. Every other table was empty. Servers all wore masks and asked us to provide contact info. Sauces were not on the table and provided upon request. Okay pho: The soup was good. I liked the amount of meat they gave. There were not enough noodles to fill me up considering that I ordered the large size. Good spring rolls: They were cut into three, so six pieces. They were good. Flies: The flies were scary. They were big and not afraid to sit on my legs. They distracted me after I finished eating Bottom line: It was not bad but not great either.
Not a lot of places to park. But the food is amazing! I had rice and chicken with a strawberry milkshake. The meal and drink were delicious! Definatly recommendFood: 5/5
