Juree's Thai Place

First time in Calgary and were looking for a good Thai place. Decided down on this based on the reviews. We made a last minute reservation 30 minutes before closing time and they were generous enough to accommodate us. Fell in love as soon as we entered. The ambience is lovely and well maintained! The staff is very friendly and you can ask them for suggestions from the menu. Make sure to specify the spice level while ordering. Food is delicious!!! Each dish comes with vegetable flower cutouts/decorations. The price might seem a bit high for some of the dishes, but the serving size is very generous. Would recommend to try the cassava cake and coconut ice cream for dessert.

I’ve never had authentic Thai food before, so I’m not sure if this place is legitimate or not. But I found that what I ordered here was delicious and flavourful. The peanut sauce that came with the stuff chicken wings were perfect and the texture of the meat and veggies with the curry was cooked to a nice level too. I found the spiciness level to be pretty accurate with my expectations and I would definitely come back again. The ambience and decor was really nice, there’s a lot of decor.

Two of us ordered coconut rice small, pad Thai ground pork and tofu and the mixed veggies with prawns. All of it absolutely delicious, served very quickly and piping hot. We also started with deep fried spring rolls. None of it was spicy. The vegetable garnish was over the top and the most elaborate and creative I have ever seen. Good service and super quick. I highly recommend!

Loved the ambience in this restaurant! Came for the stuffed chicken wings but found the other items we ordered were much tastier. The beef and pork satay skewers were nice and juicy and the curry was flavourful not spicy at “medium” though, so if you’re a spice lover, you may need to kick it up a notch. The wings, unfortunately, were a bit bland.

Amazing nice food! So good for the vegetarian people because many places add fish oil in veg curry and this place assured me for pure green and red curry! Delicious food. The Thai red curry is hot & must try… only if you can handle the hot chillies!

An atmospheric, comfortable and cozy Thai restaurant with great curry dishes! To start, the ambience in this restaurant is great and unique. It’s lit with a number of blue-green lights and decorated all around with cool, Thai-esque decor and vegetation. The menu is quite extensive, with a lot of curry options to choose from including vegetarian ones. You will also find Thai soups and noodle dishes here as well. The food here is very flavourful, with the curries being well balanced in terms of sweetness and spice which you can adjust from low, medium, and high spiciness. Unfortunately, steamed rice is sold separately and is a little pricey, being either $6 or $8 depending on size. The staff are friendly and check on you often to refill water or address any concerns. Service is pretty quick, and the parking lot outside offers ample parking. Recommend checking this place out if you’re looking to try something new and tasty!

Had a wonderful lunch here today with my daughter. The service was wonderful and the restaurant was neat, clean and very well decorated. The food was a hit! We tried both the green curry and the pad Thai and loved them both. Thanks for a delicious meal!

Had a good dining experience here. The staff was very friendly and the food delicious. Highlights were the stuffed chicken wings and the green curry beef. For the time being, reservations required for dine in.

Food was excellent. Service was slow to start. Once we got to order the, service was great. Each dish had its own flavour and we enjoyed it very much.

One of the best places for Thai food over the years! Whether you are looking for a curry, fish, or a noodle dish, you can't go wrong! Strongly recommend the matsaman curry if you are looking for one that is a bit more sweet and their pad Thai is solid too. The portions have gotten a bit smaller over time with higher prices for example, $22 for a stir fry noodle with chicken. At the end, don't forget to try one of their desserts such as the mango sticky rice!
