If you like onion than this is good. All the dish sauces is loaded with onions. I love onions but is just too much when half of your food is onions. The squid ball came, cold on the inside could have gotten sick eating raw food. We had to send it back. The flavor is OK but just too much onions. The deep fry pork was OK but too much batter but the sweet and sour sauce that came with it was good. The noodles was good. A good Korean place should come with lots of side dishes but we got only 2 - raw onion and radish. Where is my kimchi??
This is going to be my favorite noodle joint in Calgary no doubt. We ordered the black bean noodle, spicy seafood noodle and the fried chicken with spicy, sour sauce. Sorry I can remember the authentic names An absolute sensational taste. Especially the spicy seafood noodle! OMG! Excellent food, great service and clean and nice atmosphere. Big thumbs up all around. Will definitely revisit very soon.
Very good authentic Koren food. Especially the Korean spicy seafood soup. Really fresh ingredients and seafood. And the noodles are perfect. Not too soft and not too chewy. Would definitely come back and try other dishes.
Food is very good, service was phenomenal. The servers are always on their toes to provide the side dishes and water if you ever need assistance. This all deserves a 5/5 The big catch here is that if you were to have order take out and ask for the sauce to get it separate, they will charge you $1 just for a extra box. Now if you have left over food and you want a box to go, that is free of charge. So this doesn't make sense. Just be aware of this if you do go. I questioned about how it didn't make sense, and then the server decided to void the take out charge.
Second time visiting this place. The food is still great and we’re satisfied with their service as well. We ordered one of the combos: 2 noodles + sweet & sour pork. The portion was genorous that four of our family were pretty full! I would definitely visit again and recommend this place to people around me!
The portion size here are quite generous. The restaurant is spacious with polite and friendly staff. I really liked the Jjambbong, the broth was very flavourful and the spice level was moderate, which made it nice to enjoy.
Went on a weekday evening without a reservation and was seated right away. The place was not busy with maybe three or four tables already occupied. The menu is straightforward. We ordered the combo with jjajjangmyeon black bean noodles, jjamppong spicy seafood soup noodle, and kkanppunggi fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce. We were served barley tea while we waited and the food was delivered within fifteen minutes. The portions are quite large and the three dishes would definitely feed at least four people. The noodles were cooked well and were not soggy at all. The soup noodle was quite spicy, but the black bean noodles were very savoury with a good sauce to noodle ratio. The chicken was crunchy and not too spicy. Price was fair considering the portion size. Would recommend for a more casual meal.
Amazing everything! Shrimp dumpling-Very tasty and juicy. The deep fried pork tangsuyuk is nice and chewy, Well fried too! Great noodles, jajangmyun and whole shrimp jjambong! The soup tastes fresh and spicy, very good! Highly recommended to go check out this place! Parking: Lots of parking spot, great!
I would love to recommend this restaurant to my friends! Food is good and service is also wonderful! Me and my family including my two little girls are enjoying our happy time in this restaurant. We will definitely come back to eat!
One of the best Korean restaurants that is my go to for jjajangmyun and tangsuyuk. Staff are friendly and amazing service all around. Remember one of the servers teaching me how to eat tangsuyuk when I first came in. Highly recommended!
