Heard a lot of hype about this newly opened Michelin recommended Vietnamese Pho restaurant hailing from Ho Chi Min citynnThis place is always packed so make sure you pack your patience. I went on a Sunday and the wait was about 20 minutes with about 8 tables ahead of usnnThe store is small but feels very homely. Everything is very clean and the staff are smiling and welcoming.nnPricing is a little more expensive than most places but expected considering their status in the culinary worldnnBroth quality is very good, a little on the sweeter end vs other places I've tried. Amount of meat ingredients included is on par or more than others. Bowl is smaller but that's OK, you can add $2 for more noodles if you likennYou MUST try their Red Bean ice in Coconut Milk, it is the bomb! There's so much rich red beans and they were soaked so long that they are full of Flavour and just melts in the mouth
This restaurant is on Michelin Guide. Food was good just no wow factor.nWe liked the texture of the noodles. For the beef broth, it didn't have the strong Vietnamese beef broth that we expected. Spring rolls were delicious. Fresh rolls were good too. There was a great amount of meat with the noodles.
I heard about this Michelin-rated restaurant in Vietnam a few days ago and decided to give it a try as I love Pho and Vietnamese food altogether.nnThey offer delicious Pho, the broth is a mild clear broth, not being over powered by spices filled with tender noodles, flavourful beef balls, tender rare beef, melt in your mouth tendons.nThe Laksa is a coconut-based spicy soup made with warmer spices. A squeeze of lime enhances this delicious broth.nI highly recommend trying the one of a kind fish sauce wings. Super crispy and moist.nThe Thai tea was light and refreshing and was served over perfectly clear ice cubes, which I love.nnThank you to all the staff members that made us feel very welcomed. They were all very helpful answering the questions we had about the menu.nnWorth the wait.
A very busy little pho restaurant, so be prepared to wait! We waited 20 minutes on a Saturday evening. The menu is very small compared to other pho places but the options are tasty. I like that they have a combo set so you can try more things. I got the set with pho and spring rolls. The pho here is slightly herby and sweet, rather than salty. It was tasty, and the tendon in it was perfectly cooked. The rare beef was slightly tough but maybe I soaked it in the broth for too long. Spring rolls were so good and crispy, I could eat them every day.nnThey also serve Thai tea original and green which was really good as well. Service is good and our server was quite attentive. As a reminder, they only take cash or debit and they don't split bills.
The staff are friendly and cheerful. I have ordered a combo set. The soup base is great and unique. The beef is tasty but a bit small. Good job. However, they need some improvements like the wonton needed to be fried completely, the noodle texture can be softer. Fairly said, the texture could be a personal preference only. Their owner also responded promptly by correcting their mistake. I support their good attitude and will come back later for another tasting.
