Hot pot is the perfect weather for this really cold weather that we’ve been experiencing. We’ve hit up a few other hot pot places, but wanted to come back to Liuyishou because we’ve always had great experiences here. The most recent time we went was no different and it’s still one of our favorite hot pot places. We got there right as it opened at 11:30 and we were seated promptly. By 12:30 the place was almost at capacity. If you don’t have reservations be sure to go early. Side note: they only take reservations for parties of five or more. They have many different types of broths and although they’re known for the mala flavors, they also have non-spicy options. This is a AYCE establishment where most of everything is built into the price except for certain premium options. Orders are placed with your waiter, but there’s also a cafeteria style area for your appetizers and your sauces. Service was great here and they kept coming by to collect empty plates and trash. There’s a two hour limit per table.
I’ve tried many hot pot places across Toronto, and this restaurant is hands down the best! The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the all-you-can-eat option is amazing. Everything is fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared.nnThe restaurant is incredibly clean and well-organized, and the staff are super professional and attentive, making the entire experience even better. If you visit during busy hours, I highly recommend making a reservation through Google Maps to avoid waiting. Definitely a five-star experience!
My first hotpot!! I loved it. They also made my friend’s birthday special and brought out an LED sign. All of the staff are super nice. One of the staffers, Martin is especially great :
Always love coming here for hot pot! It’s my absolute favorite spot. Even with the wait times, it’s always worth it. I always go for the spicy soup base—it’s so flavorful! They have a wide selection of meats, veggies, and other ingredients, all of which look fresh. Their sauce station is fantastic, with a large variety of options to customize your dips. Plus, the free snacks in the middle are a nice touch. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is great too. Highly recommend—yum!
I've been here multiple times, and I'd say it's always fantastic experience! The hot pot was incredibly flavorful.nnA special shoutout to Martin, our server, who went above and beyond to make the evening perfect. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a great attitude that made us feel welcome. Martin’s recommendations were spot-on, and his service truly elevated our experience.
