My second time visiting Jumbo Lobster since the relocation to this new location. The first time dim sum lobster lunch set went downhill but decided to give it a second chance. We didn’t regret coming again for dinner. The lobster set dinner was great. There is a free serving of 20oz dry aged steak free with our set menu below $600. You get two servings if picking a set menu above $600. Some waitress are kind of rushing the service while most of them are great. The decoration and table spacing are far better than before.nWe find the dishes portions are a bit smaller than before but nonetheless all tasted great.nOur set menu included black silken chicken soup, half suckling pig, Vancouver crab, lobster, fish, pea sprouts, fried rice and some dessert. The lobster they picked for our table is heavier so they charged us extra $20! We also paid $20 to change the way of cooking the lobster. 5 of us each paid $94 tips and tax included by cash.nWe enjoyed the dinner and will be back soon!
I’ve only been to Fishman’s Lobster but this sister restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The ambiance, the service, the value, the FOOD! That dry aged steak is one of the best steaks I’ve had in one hand and I’ve had wagyu from Japan. The lobster was perfection and all the other dishes just complimented the meal. We picked the package good for 3-4 but it could’ve easily fed 6-7! The dessert was a little lacklustre, but still one of the most memorable meals with friends. Highly highly recommend!
2024 December 4nMoved to a new location with a larger, classy but dark look is certainly a big change from their original white marked look.nFood remains pretty good.nLobster 5.5lbs + 5 dim sum with fried rice & veggies meal is just over $210 and is good for 4 people.nn2022 September 4nIf your looking for a cheap meal, this isn't the place for you. If your looking for lobster with a decent atmosphere, you've come to the right place.nThe lobster and seafood is the star here. The other dishes are not bad either, but really, it won't be the reason why you are here.nnThe lobster with fries combination is actually very good. The hints of garlicky spiciness complements the flavor of lobster.nnThe salted egg lobster version is also just as good.nnThe garlic beef chunks with veggies are also very good. Tender and bursting with flavors.nnFree Parking available.nService was good considering it was early 4pm.
We had a lovely time at the spacious restaurant! The service was outstanding, and they did a fantastic job accommodating our family dinner of 30 people. If they could add a few more dessert options that would be amazing! I was hoping for red beans sweet soup instead we got jello which was not bad. Overall, a delightful experience!
The food was delicious, if you’re looking to try this place be sure to make a reservation in advance though. The process and food were splendid, in addition I thought it was a unique aspect allowing the guests to see and hold the crab/lobster served before it was cooked. The restaurant is be try big and spacious, in addition to the themed/traditional decor. The cups, plates, and bowls were all traditionally designed with similar patterns. The aesthetic of the restaurant was very unique as well, with lobster, fish, or crab tanks incorporated into the walls in the inside of the restaurant where you’re sat. The food was timeless and traditional.
