Great experience! The ambience and decor in this restaurant are beautiful. Feels extremely high class! The service is good, but with so many tables, it's hard to get the attention of staff sometimes. The food is good, but not perfect. The king crab and lobster were cooked well, but the pricing is extremely high. The regular dishes tasted good, but the portions were very small. Overall, this is not a place that can be visited often due to the high pricing, but great for special occasions.
This place is huge, extremely spacious from all the restaurants I have visited. But besides that… the food in Jumbo Lobster are good. Some of the foods I tried was the Lobster, and the noodles… and some other things. In terms of the design, the place is huge, and there are fish tanks on the walls… as i was seated beside them. In terms of service, the service is as of any normal restaurant.nn7/10nnMeh but the design outside is fire
This place is so amazing. The food is the best part. It is absolutely delicious. We got the Supreme Seafood Dinner which feeds 7-9 people. The highlights of the combo in my opinion were the dry aged steak, deep fried lobster, and the grilled spare ribs. The steak was honestly top three steaks I’ve had. The servers were great, they knew when and how to crack a joke or two, great conversationalists, and very helpful too.
The food at Jumbo Lobster was definitely the highlight of the evening. The salt & pepper lobster was crispy and flavorful, the Maggi-style Vancouver crab was rich and delicious, the steamed green grouper was wonderfully fresh, and the dry-aged steak was cooked well. Overall, the quality of the dishes made for a satisfying seafood dinner.nnUnfortunately, the service fell well below the standard the restaurant seems to aim for. We had to ask five different servers before a simple request for soy sauce was finally fulfilled. During service, a dish was placed so carelessly that hot sauce splashed onto a guest, yet there was little to no apology or concern shown. Some staff also appeared impatient while serving.nnConsidering that a 12% service charge is automatically added, the overall service experience simply didn’t justify the fee. The kitchen deserves praise, but the front-of-house team has significant room for improvement. Great food, disappointing service. Overall: 4/5 for the food, but only 2/5 for the service.
The lobster was perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and piled high. We tried two different styles and Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.nnAtmosphere was great. Great traditional banquet-style setup. Good spot for a large family gathering or a celebration.nnThe service was a bit of a letdown compared to how amazing the food was. It was a bit slow and tough to get the staff's attention at times, likely because they were so busy.
