Reserved for 7pm and was seated on time. Waitress was very quick and took our orders with no time to waste. Food came out relatively fast and I liked the frequent tea refillsrefilled the water 4 times. I was expecting to be disappointed about the steak like the reviews were but it was very smooth, tender and crispy on edges.steak wasn’t hot though, not sure if that’s on purpose. Flavour was not too strong and it was cooked rare with no blood. The rest of the dishes were well made and seasonedsour chicken was crispy. Finally the lobster was good but it was not as juicy as other places I’ve been to. Flavour is nice and fries were a little soggy but very well seasoneda little spicy. I will note that the atmosphere is very loudhard to talk to each other but if you’ve been to dim sum places, it’s normal. Interior design is very nice, high ceiling with low lighting except for tables. The space is surrounded by fish tanks, steak casing and wine cabinets with cool lighting. Really like the all black walls and ceiling and the protruding pattern in the ceiling.
lunch special is the best value. enormous place compare to the old ones. a bit darker lightings for dining but very spacious seating. ensure you have the steaks after other dishes or ask server for this coz the steaks will occupy your stomach; the B5 steak is fantastic perfectly cooked with seasining and met its quality. no doubt the best thus far in town. the add ons, the one bite dim sum is the highlight which supposed to be in traditional. taste normal no surprise. the lobster is perfectly cooked that we had maggie sauce, however the fries were soggy. the egg noodles with veggie in soup is really good well balance specially the noodle did not go soft even after 40 mins and the soup or the stock base is actually made w fish and chicken. service is good but need more servers for tea refill and soiled dishes replacement. unfortunately, other requests on sauce to lobster dish required extra charges which a bit over price ie. duck egg sauce $20namazingly the aged wagyu beef is outstanding in a seafood theme restaurant. i will return to explore other dishes and higher grade steaks.
We visited recently for dinner and ordered a combo that included a 3 lb lobster, a 1 lb steak, and vegetables. We also added the sweet and sour pork and crab fried rice. Overall, the food was quite good, I especially enjoyed the steak and the fried rice. The steak was cooked prefect medium rare, the fried rice was had crispy crab bites in it. The sweet and sour pork was flavorful and very crispy, though the portion felt a bit small for the $24 price point.nnUnfortunately, the service detracted from the overall experience. The staff came across as dismissive, and we frequently had to ask for basic items like water refills, utensils, getting their attention so we could order, etc. After we paid, we asked a question, but the staff simply walked away, it was unclear whether they didn’t hear us or chose not to respond. Interestingly, the tables around us seemed to receive much more attentive service. It left us wondering whether it was due to our order being being the cheapest combo on the menu it was still over $200 though. They automatically charge a 12% gratuity to the bill which is fine but if you’re going to do that then I believe you should have better service.nnI really wished their service was better because I quite enjoyed the food. Given that this is positioned as a more upscale and relatively pricey restaurant, we expected a higher standard of service.
Parking is free, but it fills up quickly so it’s best to arrive early. The restaurant has a modern décor. The food is tasty overall, the steak in particular was very good. Service is friendly, though they seem a little short on staff, so it’s not always the most attentive. Prices aren’t cheap, but they’re reasonable given the quality of the food.
An unforgettable feast at Jumbo Lobster Restaurant!nWe ordered the mountain of fried lobster, and it was nothing short of jaw-dropping. Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and succulent with every bite — this was truly a showstopper both in presentation and flavor. The portion was incredibly generous and ideal for sharing with a group.nnThe ambiance was upscale yet comfortable, and the service was attentive and efficient. The attention to detail, from plating to garnishing with fresh lettuce and scallions, made it feel like a luxury dining experience without the pretentiousness.nnIf you’re a seafood lover or just want to impress a table of guests, this is the dish to order — and this is the place to be.nnHighly recommended. Can’t wait to come back!
