Petro-Canada & Car Wash

CAR WASH review - useless! Too short a track, does not clean the wheels and rear of the vehicle much at all! The duration of wash isn't long or slow enough to properly wash a car. Save your money and time, don't wash here.

Despite stating that they are open from 6 AM to 11 PM, this location opens and closes randomly at their own convenience. Both on Google and in the Petro-Canada app, the hours are listed as consistent, but in reality, they are not reliable. Since there’s no other Petro-Canada car wash nearby, I have no choice but to come here. However, many times I’ve found it closed and had to turn back.

Came out of their car wash with a grey, greasy film over the entire car. It impacted my visibility and made my side mirrors unusable. I had to stop at a set of lights, get out, and try to clean the windscreen enough to drive safely. Later that day, I took the car for a 2nd wash this time at Esso to clean the grease off the car.

Car wash is awful. Very quick wash cycle but doesn't clean or dry it properly. It also broke the glass in my wing mirror. Staff and owner didn't care.

I visited this Petro-Canada location around 9:45 PM, well before their listed closing time of 10:00 PM. When I attempted to pay with cash, the staff refused to accept it, stating that the cash was already closed for the night. This policy is frustrating and inconvenient—if the doors are still open for business, all payment methods should remain available.nnNot only does this practice result in lost revenue for the company, but it also creates a poor customer experience. Reliability is key when choosing a gas station, and unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider using Petro-Canada in the future.nnI hope management addresses this issue to better serve customers who expect full service until closing time.
