Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

So we get seated, server is very nice, but after she takes our order she disappears in the back. Sounds like a party going on and super loud. I look around and I don’t see a worker anywhere. There all in the back. We wait for close to forty minutes for our food, being that we were there at 4:30 and barely anyone else was in the restaurant, that’s unacceptable. I approached the manager, who was scowling at me, I said,” Um, hi. We’ve been waiting for over thirty minutes and I was wondering when our food will be ready.” Just then our food comes out. Pancakes were burnt, scrambled eggs were over cooked to the point that they were dry and browned. Belgian waffle was great. And who still has sugar twin for sweatier (ever hear of cancer people, not to mention it bitter and ruins a decent cup of coffee. Biggest waste of $35 Never going back.

My mom loves this place. My aunt joined us for breakfast when I visited. Like my aunt said it will look just like the picture on the menu. Plus Great service.

Hit and miss. Sometimes the food and service is amazing, other times I'm left waiting for my server to come back or even check on me. Out of the times I've been here, I'd say it's a 70/30 when it comes to good service vs poor service. No one has ever been rude, just neglectful. I usually get better service during busy times, believe it or not. But the food is usually very good. I'm a breakfast person so I usually have fried eggs and tater tots.

No problems. Decent service. Average brunch place. It's your average Brunch resteraunt. Staff are relatively nice, no problems there. I recommend it.

Was in the Hat for a hockey tournament, and decided to stop in for lunch. Food was ok. Service was good. But the pie we purchased to take home was awesome. And was a great price compared to Pie's Plus in Calgary.
