I've loved this place for a decade. The storefront sign is involved in one of my favorite drunk-shaming incidents. Dear, dear friend read the sign as pee-ō-plee's. It will forever be a landmark for top notch breakfast pastries, stellar gyros and a his stupidity. Do yourself a favor and try everything.

How does this have 4 stars. I honestly don’t know who this establishment has not been closed down by the health department. It’s absolutely filthy and disgusting. There is a literal layer of grime covering the surfaces of the entire restaurant. There is ingredients and cooking supplies stored on the floor. The donuts appear to be made three weeks ago. On and on. Go somewhere else and save yourself from food poisoning.

We bought a house in the neighborhood about a year ago and this place has quickly become our go to for a morning donut and an evening falafel! We love everything about this place - a true Madison gem.

I was in when they first opened the store in the morning. I bought donuts for my son and I. The donuts were as hard as a rock. I felt bad that I had given one to my son no time to go buy one at a gas station close by as we were headed to school in the morning. I also didn't give him his milk as the refrigerator was plugged in right before the store opened. Every milk and juice was hot. I was very displeased.

Not the gyro i expected , had the gyro down the street at Cp mart gas station ,3 million times better ,and there fries are fresh cut compared to here the sauce tasted like it was out of box also had the chicken ,it too was dry, the portions have become smaller also since last time i was there.
