The buns here are fantastic! A grand variety and very affordable. You can't go wrong with the taro or red bean buns or twists, and they even make moon cakes. I've mostly stopped by for a bag of buns or pork buns, but their menu is tasty and reasonable too. Classics such as potstickers and noodle soups, as well as more traditional Chinese dishes. I love introducing my friends to this place! There's nothing else like it in Madison.

They have a large selection of really great buns. I especially enjoy the sesame balls, egg tarts, and read bean buns. If you get here at the right time they're warm too. Also very inexpensive!

cheap price and tasty food. If the food is more fresh, this is a five star restaurant.

Fun place, with a wide variety of interesting baked goods at very reasonable prices. Not everything I've tried was my cup of tea, but the sesame balls, BBQ pork buns, and sweet top buns definitely merit repeat visits!

The best part about this place is that the food is fairly authentic. It's not exactly like in China (because it's not in China), but it's still true to the traditions. Some things I recommend: Cha Shao Bao (barbecue pork buns) Lao Po Bing Hui Guo Rou (twice cooked pork) Dou Jiang (soy milk) You Tiao (fried donut) Those last two are particularly good together and are a common breakfast in China. Usually you cut the donut into pieces and dunk it in the milk before you eat it,a simple tasty breakfast.
