Podollan Inn & Spa

I had a less than desirable visit on my last trip through and gave this place another chance. I’m glad I did. The front desk staff were helpful, professional and check in was easy. My room … mwah! Excellent. The bed was comfy, pillows excellent, lots of space and a super clean bathroom. At some point a quick call to ask how our room was is an update since my last stay which would have solved my rating from a few months back. All in all .. will stay here again.

Spoiled myself with a weekend away and reserved the executive suite. Front staff was friendly and lobby was clean. Upon the elevator door opening on the third floor, I see laminate flooring in poor shape with nails holding it down. As I walk thru the hallway towards my room, I trip over poor carpet repairs and start to wonder why I paid 200 a night. As I entered the room, everything was clean. Odd layout but nothing of concern. Settled in and as im brushing my teeth I notice big cracks in the sink. Lay down for the night and all I can hear is street traffic, thinking maybe a window was open, I check them only to find they are closed but warped so badly that they dont close all the way. It was very clean, but definitely not worth 200 a night. I've stayed in more modern, and updated 100 a night hotels with the same square footage. Thanks for the experience but I won't be back.

We've stayed at the Podollan numerous times. It's our go-to! But this was the first time we brought our senior dog with us.nnWe all had an amazing time for the ten nights we stayed, and our girl was able to relax because the room's soundproofing was amazing. She didn't have to worry about every little sound.nnPlus, the room location was superb! We were right off the elevator, not even two steps away, so taking her in and out was super easy!

Stayed at Podollan Inn & Spa in Grande Prairie for my Alberta physical abilities test. I only booked for one night, but I needed a couple extra hours the next day to get ready after my exam. The staff were super understanding and let me stay longer, which I really appreciated. Great people and great service. I’ll definitely be back.nnSpecial thanks to the front desk team person Lorene. She was one of the nicest people.

Love this hotel! It has definitely the best value in grande prairie and the suites are the most spacious suites I've ever had in a hotel, with a very big two sink full bathroom. Beds are incredibly comfortable with great pillows. A sit down served breakfast is fantastic.
