Paris Jewellers

Very eager and excited I purchased an engagement ring from Paris Jeweller. 2 weeks into my fiancé having the ring the main diamond fell out, now this was upsetting but not nearly as upsetting as it has been to deal with the employees of this particular Paris Jeweller. Upon returning the ring to Paris they assured me that it will be sent out and taken care of by next Wednesday 1 week from the day I gave it to them and I was told that worse case scenario we would be looking at Friday, I left them the ring just thankful it was getting taken care of. Next Wednesday didn't hear a thing, same Thursday, nothing on Friday which is where the incompetency begins I called Friday on my home from work where I was told it would be looked into and I would receive a call back in 5 minutes 1 hour later I call back to check in again where I'm told that it is not ready and I will be waiting till next Wednesday guaranteed, I called to check that it was there before leaving, on the phone I was told that ring was in the store and had been fixed. Drove from St.Albert to West Edmonton mall to find out that the ring is not only not in the store but yet to be repaired, despite my phone call telling me that she had it right there. From that I explain what I happened to the employee where she proceeds to insult me by asking the price of the ring in front of my fiancé and maybe that's the reason that it broke. In the end it should be ready by the 27th of April it officially took Paris Jeweller longer to fix the ring then my fiancé had owned it, on a ring designed to last her entire life. West Edmonton mall is the largest mall in North America and has plenty of jewelry stores I highly recommend going else where or hell even a different Paris Jeweller because the products are nice but because the staff has been this incompetent in this issue.

Very disappointed with the staff after being told we DO NOT NEED to provide the physical copy of the care plan to receive service. They insisted they wanted to see the booklet as they do not keep service records on file. Had to travel almost 2-hours from home to the location just to retrieve and find this care plan booklet.

Bought a nice watch last year here. But recently it was having problems because the time zone and date were incorrect. Came twice here, waiting patiently as one of the store associates tried to fix it, but each time had no luck. Some sort of problem with the radio/calibration inside, so they actually sent it out to get it fixed for free, even thought it's been a month past the warranty. Extremely nice and helpful every time I visited.

Brought my engagement ring in for its inspection and cleaning. We also purchased the jewellery care plan with the ring and I was hoping to have it rhodium plated. The sales associate told me it takes about 45 minutes but we would have to leave the ring because the goldsmith is not in or wait. I asked when he would be in and she said she doesn't know maybe two weeks? She then proceeded to ask if we have our own goldsmith.. I bought this plan so I wouldn't have to pay a goldsmith to do these things. What a waste of money on the plan when they don't even know when their own goldsmith will be around.

Purchased a ring at this location at the end of June, was told I had all my warranty information for the ring that I purchased in the pamphlet with my receipt. Went on a holiday, proposed with the ring and returned late July to have the ring sized properly. Picked the ring up the week before august long weekend. Ring was worn for three days and broke dead center of the finger where it was resized. Five diamonds on the band fell out. Brought the ring in to get repaired and was told the warranty does not cover lost stones, damages accidental or otherwise. And I would have to pay out of pocket for repairs. No warranty coverage whatsoever. My ring lasted three days after being sized and they will not accept the fact that the sizing has anything to do with it, even though the ring broke directly on the cut from sizing and is a clean break. Do not waste your money here as I have. This store does not care about you and will lie and steal from you as they did from me. I may also add that cheap dollar store/Walmart rings were also worn while this one broke. No quality over cost from this store.
